I have had an air fryer then we got an air fryer oven, I love it! The one thing I heard say is to drop the tempt for normal ovens drop it to 25 degrees less and do only 3/4th of the time. But you are right, is a learning curve but it's well with it. If you have Facebook, you can find air fryer groups. I'm in a few myself. I even like to grill ear of corn in mine!

I don't think I even realized there was an air fryer oven until people in the comments said they had one! This has definitely been a learning curve but worth it for sure! I will have to check out the air fryer groups, thanks Lizzie!

Hi, I"m a new viewer, just wanted to comment, I remember weight watchers was a big fad in the 60s, and when dr Atkins debunked it every one stopped doing it , because it doesn"t work ! Why because WW allows you to eat the standard American diet (SAD) processed refined high carb foods ! You can air fry carbs all you want you WILL NOT lose weight , to lose weight count the carbs not the calories. High carb diets are the #1 cause of diabetes, obesity and heart disease in this country ! I still enjoyed your video !
@AliciaLynnYT2 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard, I can understand your dislike of WW because there are things I don't like about it myself. I am going to have to disagree with you on WW not working. Does it work for everyone? No, it doesn't . But, I personally have lost weight and have maintained that loss for years now doing WW. I In fact, it is the ONLY diet I have ever been able to be successful on and been able to sustain for a long period of time. I have done the super low carb or Atkins diet and failed miserably at that. Sustainability is key, and Atkins simply isn't for me personally. I do agree that carbs are not good for you in general, but WW also focuses on a lower carb diet. Carbs = points for the most part. I don't end up eating very many carbs in a day because I don't have the points for them! Lol So for example, the fries we air fryed in this video, I can't eat those. Way too many points! Anyway, I respect that everyone has their own opinion on diets, that is just mine. And WW or not, this air fryer is amazing! Thanks for watching!

@AliciaLynnYT3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cindy. I haven't done chicken in mine yet but I would tell you to put as many in as you want as long as there is a little space between them to allow for air flow. Also, we have found the temps in the book to be accurate but the times are way longer than needed. I usually start checking things at about half the time suggested in the book. All the recipes I have tried online tend to have longer cooking times than needed too. At least for our air fryer. And yes, I would suggest spraying your basket with something like olive oil to prevent sticking. Hope that helps!

@@AliciaLynnYT glad to hear you’re still loving it! I noticed that other brands ones have outer basket + lining basket and you can dump the food out with the lining basket so that oil doesn’t drip with the food. With this air fryer, there is a mesh on the bottom but no separate lining basket, so I would need to use like a tong to pick out food if there is oil in the basket. Was wondering if that bothers you (seems not!) thanks for all the awesome recipe videos 💕

@waynethebarber10952 жыл бұрын
Nice video, but the times are just a guide, you have to check in the middle. Or even every 5 minutes.... You really need an instant temperature probe and be sure to take temperatures. That is like a must for every air fryer. Watch a lot of videos on KZbin, and it will help . You must learn times and temperatures. I set a timer for when I need to check ..... I made a list of what I wanted to try, and then marked them off ... The information is out there, You need to learn how to use your new air fryer. I find an air fryer way better than the instant pot ..
