I'm loving my air fryer, so I'm going to keep the 6qrt for a while, and I ordered a set of air fryer essories that's coming this week. ever since I stop using cooking oil, my weight is under control, my blood pressure is slow down. I'm more active , but I'm gonna have surgery in the coming months on my right knee. so I'm doing sitting exercises. but I'm eating better now.

I am so pleased that I finally bought an air fryer - and especially pleased that I paid attention to the positive reviews of other users, and decided on this one kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . It is just perfect for the two of us, and takes up very little space on my small countertop. I roasted salmon filets for dinner tonight and they were the best ever - slightly crispy on the outside but moist inside. Best of all, no smelly kitchen or difficult clean-up. My only complaint would be the lack of even a few printed recipes to get started. My generation does not find it easy to access the QR code and use the smart phone app. I bought a recipe book instead, which gave me the confidence to experiment.

I had last years version of this oven and couldn't resist the QVC price. It arrived a few days after I ordered it. I LOVE this newer version! I use it everyday. In fact, I just finished cooking a whole 2 pounds of bacon. Between the air fryer and electric pressure cooker, I don't need a stove at all! LOL!

I bought this from HSN for my mama. She has had it for several weeks. Hasn't used it yet. I bought this one because a cousin has had hers for about 3 months from HSN, cook in it often and loves it. Her whole chickens look like they were baked in her regular stove oven. She did not use the rotisserie feature. She just placed the whole chicken on the tray breast side down and turned it over for last cycle. A few nights ago she put 17 chicken wings in it. Look just like fried chicken yum yum. She demonstrated for me via Duo how to cook chicken wings and 7-steaks. Oh, last month my cousin baked several dozen muffins. Some had pecans and blueberries. She even baked a banana nut loaf cake. Yes, she got it going on. Now I can over the phone tell my mama how to operate starting out with regular chicken wings. I'm happy I came across your video as I was looking for something else not food related. Thank you.

So happy to see your review of this model. I searched for reviews before i bought it, but couldn't find any. I love mine! Got it at Bed bath & Beyond in early November. My daughter cut up the Thanksgiving turkey and roasted the pieces in the fryer. She used a Cajun spiced butter and it was wonderfully juicy. It wasn't too much of a pain to rotate the trays (we only used 2 because the turkey was thicc 🤣) and cleanup was a breeze. Way less cook time than a whole turkey in the oven, even doing batches & rotating trays. I didn't know about the basket at QVC! I'll look for that. Keep doing your thing Doug! Love it

I have one of these now and I find that you dont have to turn the food over it will do both sides. Ive done chicken and fries too and fish and didnt touch them at all. set them to what i would have in a proper oven. Of course im still learning it as I only got it last week, but so far I love it

I love mine so far but the beeping is driving me insane, I’m about to open mine and cut the speaker off. It beeps FOREVER even when the food is done and you open the door. But I love how easy it is to clean and how much space. I’m excited to cook bacon in it because of all the rows of racks. Quick tip: wrap the drip pan in aluminum foil tightly. Keeps stuff from getting burned on.

Do you remember the commercial with the the with that saying, just set it, and forget it. he made the whopper chooper back in the late 70s. he was the first to make the air fryer, the rotisserie chicken. my Dad brought it, and the one you're using is the same. I brought the power xl 6qrt. air fryer at Walmart today, for my early birthday present which is next month. 😊oh .he's name is Ron Popel. 😊

I also have the Tower one 11L hear in the UK love it I did have the power one but the bulb went after a week and I could not see in the oven and you can't replace it because it's built in i exchange it and the second one had intermittent light on off must be very unlucky so brought the tower instead and you can change the bulb on the tower I'm loving the rotisserie .Love your videos 👍

Hey Doug! I bought the PAFXL oven a while ago the 6 quart and I wasn’t a fan of the oven style but I think because I had the basket version first. I also didn’t like that you need to rotate the shelves to get all of your meat the same consistency. It works well for baking on the middle rack and to use as a smaller oven if you don’t want to heat the house. I gave mine to my sister and she loved it. Everyone has a different preference.

That's helpful to me. I have the 5L PAFXL original, basket type, already. I'm debating whether to upgrade to this one though. You've made me think not to, if you have to keep rotating everything. I love just switching mine on and leaving it. I only remove the basket to check the temperature of the food with a food thermometer. But after 2 years I pretty much know how long to set it to get perfect results now. Thanks again for this info. I might just wait now, until mine dies. But I've used it daily for 2 years, and it still works like new. So It sounds like I may just be throwing money away for the sake of it.

Own last year's model of this same air fryer and I use it to make those same chicken nuggets! Works beautifully, less than 10 minutes. The rotisserie does indeed work and makes amazing chicken. But the oven needs smallish chickens that can be hard to find. Anyway congrats on your purchase! It's a great oven and mine has never let me down. Use it almost every day.

I’ve had the 6.5 quart and only used it once since getting it over 2 weeks ago.. My son and his girlfriend have been using my 8 quart Gourmia air fryer that I bought at Walmart for $49 bucks!! This crap stopped heating after just two years of use. It turns on like nothing happens, the fan works and the it heating element works intermitently. Sometimes it throws an ERR 03 message. This is my second air fryer. The first one was bought like 5 or 6 years ago and is still working like a charm.

Hi Doug, I had a PowerXL 6qt Pro Elite and I loved it. I wanted to go bigger, so I got the 10 qt. When it arrived, I opened it only to find the interior size was the exact same size as the 6 qt I already had! Needless to say, I sent it back the very next day. Have you looked at the interior dimensions of the 6, 8, & 10 qt machines? Maybe I'm missing something, but Doug can you figure out why the 8 qt has bigger interior than the 10qt? The investment in a "Pressure Fryer" is satisfying because regular electric pressure cookers and air fryers do not hold up under frying pressure cooking. The gaskets are not sturdy enough. I just learned the difference trying to copy KFC chicken. I'm looking at a range top "Chicken Pot" pressure cooker right now. Who knew?

Use Pam then soapy water and scotch brites comes clean every time, those others chip off the materials get into your food. Just found this one to be better and easier to sanitize than the others. I don’t mind spending and extra 10 or 15 minutes cleaning my air fryer knowing It’s clean enough to reuse again with cooking with the same food stuck to it because some people awe too lazy to put in that work respectfully. This is available on Amazon in the UK. As well as the accessories you've shown here, in the UK it also includes a rotisserie basket and 10 skewers with 2 'discs' to attach to the rotisserie fitting to transform it. I have the original Airfryer XL and I love it. I don't like buying new items to replace perfectly good items I already have. But I might just treat myself for Christmas. The dehydrator and rotisserie is a great selling point, as my current one is 2 years old, and just the basket type. It is, however, £150 (approx. $200) in the UK. So about double the US price. Waiting to watch your results from the rotisserie function, then maybe try the dehydrator for us please Doug. Much love from an avid follower in the UK. I've made lots of your recipes 👍👍👍👍

yeah. i have a 16.9 qt air fryer and my friend and i cook personal pizzas for dinner. we cook 2 pizzas at 1 time but switch the racks around half way through cooking. i n oticed the top pizza cooks really crispy and the bottom cooks nicely. so switching them makes them both cook not too crispy.
