REMEMBER: Be kind to your wrists! Whenever bearing your weight down on the hands, press the whole palm firmly into mat-especially the index & thumb knuckles! Also, always remember you can go straight into downward dog for an extra breath instead of taking another vinyasa.

Best video yet. Not sure if it is because I practiced with AirPods in my ears-sleeping children- but WOW. Love that there are always modifications so I can challenge myself at my level. Finally did shavasinah for the full time and noticed something amazing - my shoulders actually relaxed in the middle of it and did not crunch up. Beautiful motivation and wisdom throughout. Determined to finish the empowerment series and do it again and again. Great job, Inner Dimension and Travis Eliot!

Some good challenges here to aspire to! Great way to start the day. Quote of the practice: "You want greatness, you have to be determined" -- can be applied to so many goals. Appreciate the guiding into and out of sivasana for a short, sweet, energetic, complete practice.

A few little challenges in this one, which was great. I like it when you give the asana names as I’m trying to learn them. The best is ‘no more asanas’! 😅 Thank you for sharing your practices. It means so much to so many. 🙏

Good call. I took your advice and now wear neon glow in the dark wristys, not dissimilar to those observed at raves, whilst practicing the yoga. Life saver, or at minimum, wrist saver.

Travis, I really loved the quotes you gave us at the end. Your wisdom and retention of helpful, inspiring knowledge continues to impress myself and my Godmother. We both practice with you and you have truly been such a gift. We live miles away from each other now but we always share your videos with each other to keep the other motivated in our yoga practice! We used to go to a studio together. Thank you for helping us stay connected through this beautiful magical movement we call asana. I’d like to share something with you. Yesterday was the anniversary of my mothers passing, eight years ago. During meditation today at the end of this video, she came to me in my mind’s eye. She wanted to make it clear it was her. Her face was shining and she was so beautiful. She looks very healthy in the heavenly realm. I don’t get to see her often so this was seriously a huge blessing. She told me that she is so proud of me and that I am strong just like her. She gave me a hug. It felt so real. I let out a few tears, which is a good thing. It’s hard for me to cry. But my mom always has that emotional power over me. It’s healing. I just want to say thank you for being a conduit of healing for so many people. You are amazing. I am determined to finish this series with grace and empowerment! Much love from Colorado

That was quite a vigorous power-vinyasa sequence!! Even as a moderately advanced (by Western standards) yoga practitioner, I found this to be a SOLID trans-adominous (core muscle group) coordination challenge!!
@ARsuffix2 жыл бұрын
The sequence is given clearly and does a good job prepping the body for a unique peak pose: A "knee-to-elbow two-pointed push-up" balancing pose related to kapinjalasana.
