I'm a day late. I had to do some preventative maintenance on my Silverado so it keeps going strong. A filter change and some undercoating on the frame and it's good to go. Gotta be on top of it. Ohio loves to cover the roads in salt in the winter. It's starting winter number 8 and not a spot of rust.

@@bmstylee eight Winters in Ohio and not a spot of rust, now that's impressive.
@bmstylee2 ай бұрын
@AnnatarTheMaia during the winter I pay for a monthly pass at a car wash. So if it snows I make sure to get it into a car wash ASAP so it doesn't sit worth salt on it. Plus I make sure to get a couple coats of wax on it each year. I don't want to be the guy with a truck that looks like it's about to fold in half between the cab and bed.

Love the restoration video, great color choice for the '67 Pontiac LeMans and good to go with this project.

My very first car was a 1966 Pontiac LeMans in this turquoise color which my dad bought for me in September of 1970 when I was 20 years old. It was a two door coupe with the 326 c.i.d. V-8. A two speed automatic of the speeds of "fast, and faster"! I loved this car! Wished it had a few more features but it did well for me. The car needed a rebuilt transmission during my ownership, if I remember. The car hit once or twice the "120 m.p.h." ... not by me but done by one of my best friends in the 19 months I had it. It's great to see this '67 "LeMans" being restored to glory. Great detail work!

In my opinion, polyurethane bushings suck, the rubber bushings don't flex enough to make a significant difference, and they tend to squeak. I have removed all the polyurethane bushings from my '67 Corvette and my 02 GMC Sonoma. I won’t use them again in any of my future restorations. If you're restoring your interior, I also recommend using sound-deadening material. I applied it everywhere: on the firewall, the doors, and of course, the floorboards. You won’t be disappointed when you're cruising to the next car show!
