By watching this short video, I understood the meanings of many unknown to me terms, like virtualization, hypervisor and virtual machine. Besides, the video describes how they are connected with each other. Also, it explains the differences between type 1 and type 2 hypervisors. Type 1 hypervisors are being installed on bare/empty metal hardware (without any software installed). While type 2 hypervisors should be installed on top of an operating system. Type 1 hypervisors are for servers meanwhile type 2 hypervisors are for desktop computers.
