Maliek, I use Power Director 365. I've used PD for about 5-6 years on a limited basis. I find sometimes, it is easier to go back to the beginning ... I am setting up my properties and I look at your settings (12:15 on PD Editing Workflow for Beginners) while I am doing it. Under Confirmation inside of properties, you have about 20 bullet points you can check, Inside of PD 365 I show none. Question: Would you happen to know why that is? Thanks, DWolfe

Good stuff BUT I only recently found out how limiting Color Director and Audio Director are when bundled in with 365. I use Audacity to manipulate my audio; is there a free alternative for Color Director?

I'm a little confused as to why you have used here the PowerDirector 16's format as there are quite a number of differences to the newer versions. Also I'd be interested to know what the spec is of your current PC.

I'm Mario from Palermo (Italy). Yesterday I bought POWER DIRECTOR 2024 online (139 euros!) and installed it on my computer. Everything seemed to be going well, but during video production the program crashes and I even have to restart the PC. To produce a 7 minute video I spent hours trying and trying again; during rendering the program crashes. What could it depend on? I have been working with Power Director for years, before I was 18 and every now and then it also had this problem. Could it be due to some app blocking the program?

Transitions - cross or overlap?(4:14) I find I get a momentary freeze-frame if I use cross transition so I restrict my use of that effect to stills. For video(moving image), I'll use overlap, even though I'll lose 5 seconds of content(I've determined my default setting for transitions to be 5 seconds).

I watched most of the video. Did u even mention rendering. Thats a huge slowdown when it comes to editing after you put a couple effects on and idk if there's a way to speed that up. Also I'm doing a music video of sorts so there's 10 tracks of me synced up to audio so I'm having to disable all the tracks and then enable them as needed since I can't see any easier way to go about it when u have 10 video layers.

Rendering? Is your video rendering during the edit? Turn on shadow files in the preferences. What are your PC specs? I can edit with 25 tracks of assets no problem.

During colour grading I find my CPU runs at 100% while GPU lags at 41% or so. I have an AMD 6core processor with an Nvidia GTX 4GB vram and 32GB Ram. No hard drives, all SSDS. PREFERENCES show OPEN CL, not CUDA. PLEASE SUGGEST A FIX.

Not aware of a way to remove subtitles. You can cover them up using a blur or a color board.
