Very Cool! Now how do you insert a video clip in instead of a picture?

If you want to zoom in on a map and then have a video appear, you can use the same techniques. Put the video on track 2. And you can use the same keyframe techniques if you want the video to grow and fill part or all of the screen. I'm thinking about producing another tutorial to show that specifically for those who want to see some options. --Jim

Been trying this but for some reason my program keeps freezing up my whole pc! I don't have the ok button on my version 14. I click save or save as but nothing is working. I may have to unistall and reinstall. I'm tempted to upgrade to 16 but everything worked fine till I started trying this lol

Sorry about your frustrations. 16 is pretty stable by now. I'd love to have the time to show the process in each of the last few versions, but it's just not feasible. It's like doing tutorials for Microsoft Word. Toolbars change as do features. Most of the commands for the basic processes I cover here are in all the recent versions. So I hope you continue to make progress without the software headaches. --Jim

One thing I have done a couple of times, maybe you can perfect it...Google Earth has a "fly"feature....basically, you start in the Earth splash screen that it does...on the left is the search box. Type the point you want to go to and it will take you straight to a street view. With some clever editing, you can crop the search box out. Use PD screen capture to get the video ...Thanks for all you do !!!

Jim, Neat idea. I haven't used Google Earth for a while. I'll have to experiment and see if I can mimic what you have done. Is the footage copyrighted? That would be one glitch to using it. --Jim
