This is pretty cool. I like the demonstrations of the different effects. The only effect that I think is missing is a “thunderstorm” effect. I want to add a thunderstorm to an image with a sky in it. I also want to take an image of an indoor scene, and make the thunderstorm show up through the windows. I would really love to add some different weather effects to still images.

Wow didn't know you could create those effects in photodirector must use it more 🔥 one thing I wanted to ask. I noticed when using the action camera (eg. Speed ramping) on a clip, it deletes off any effects or colour luts applied and you can't apply any effects after using the the action. Is there a way around this other than rendering the clip?

Thanks for asking. I am afraid currently you still need to render the clip to as a new video first and then apply the LUT on it. This small tip might help. You can use the Range Produce feature to scope the clip and then render the range only. To scope a range of a project, drag the yellow dot above the timeline scale. Hope this help.

Hello. I need help. A recent update has changed the layout of photo director. (I dont like this new layout) I only has a guided and expert tab visible. Nice video but the software itself is very limited. You can't create any animations with the free version that don't have a watermark, which is absolutely infuriating. I hate this kind of free but you can't really use it sales pipeline. I don't mind basic features and then pro version offers more, that makes perfect sense, but to offer this up as everything is watermarked unless you go pro is an utter, utter waste of my time. And yes, you could argue but you can use a 3rd party to remove the watermark, well if that's true why bother to put it on, why force me into another step in my process except, of course, to get my to sign up to go pro. Very dissapointed with this. Just infuriated me today and the video makes no mention of this watermark issue. Ahhhhh!!!!!

I bought this program from windows store it was working before but suddenly stop working - did not use it even 1 year - windows store do not answer and producer of this soft ware tells me to contact window store - they say it will not work on windows 11 but windows store specs shows that my pc is okey - I do not know but software company and windows store has problem i think and software company do not give any support.. so I have paid but not using this program it is just ripp off
