Wouldn't it be safer to start up the generator AFTER the twist lock 30 amp is fully connected?

Surprisingly, no. It's recommended to turn the generator on and let it run a few minutes before plugging in any cords and connecting it to your home. I know you all don't carry the Honda EU7000 but, will that transfer kit work for the EU7000is? I'd like to get that Gen and maybe, if it works with it I could buy one off you all for when my gen gets here. Please let me know Thanks!!
