Wow. Im skeptical when it comes to this sort of meditation stuff, but after the day I had today, I gotta say Thank you for providing such excellent free content. My partner's water broke last night at 10pm, and when contractions got bad enough, we rushed to the hospital and waited. Initially she was getting really frustrated and angry with almost everything, which was making her contractions much harder for her. After going home for 2 hours and putting this on a loop on my phone (she put some headphones on for the duration of our birth and exclusively listened to this), and I gotta say her mood and outlook changed dramatically. She went from being frustrated and upset to calm, relaxed and honestly looked like she was in a trace and about to fall asleep. It really helped make our first birth not only a huge success, but a HUGELY empowering and happy moment for her. So I can't say enough, Thank you so much for this. It really helped bring my little girl into the world in the best possible way!

Hey I’m the momma this one is talking about. CAN CONFIRM! Bridget, I’ve been following your channel through my pregnancy just to prepare myself for labour and to know what my options are. I’m usually a really pragmatic (cynical lol) person so when I’d see these pop up in my suggestions I’d kind of eye roll. I came onto your page looking for some relief when I was sent home from L&D sore and frustrated and feeling like I’d definitely need an epidural despite really not wanting one. This meditation was a GAME CHANGER. I immediately felt calm and in control, able to bring my baby into the world. I was in labour for 16 hours, 4 of which were active labour because baby was sunny side up. I don’t know how but I got through the whole thing without any pain medication and baby got here safe and happy. My body is already recovering well and that is 100% because this video exists. I truly could not have done this without you. Thank you so much, Bridget, for swooping in to save the day when I needed that reminder that I am strong enough to do this. To any future mamas feeling fear, YOU CAN DO IT! You’re powerful and fully capable of bringing your baby into the world! Listen to this video on repeat! You’ve got this!!

@@WhensdayAddams Were you able to do the pushing on your own without the nurses/doctor directing you or were you and baby able to do all of it on your own?
@TeaCup19402 жыл бұрын
@@charmagnesialu8836 If you have no epidural, you do not need anybody to tell you when to push and when not to push. Actual'y you do not even have to push if you do not want to. The uterus will do automatic pushes that you cannot even control. Besides if you push too hard or too much, you will tear, because the skin will not have enough time to strech.

Currently sitting with my baby nursing 🤱 and thinking of you. I am so greatful for your videos. The night before I went into labor I was feeling extremely anxious. I prayed. I asked God to give me strength and to ease my fears. I have done this unmedicated thing before and while I was proud of getting through it, I remembered the pain more than anything. I was somewhat traumatized by the whole thing. So going into this again, while I knew I could do it, I was starting to have memories of fear and how near the end at the transition phase I lost control. So at 3am I prayed that God would give me peace and the courage to have an unmedicated birth again. At 6:30 am I noticed Braxton hicks contractions were happening every 20 minutes. I started timing around 7:30 and realized I was in labor. Contractions were not intense at all but consistent. I have researched hypnobirthing this whole pregnancy and decided to look on KZbin for a video to help calm my nerves. I found YOU. and I’m so glad I did. I actually FELL ASLEEP. My mother thought I must not actually be in labor bc who falls asleep lol I slept so peacefully. Once the contractions were 5 apart fiance and I went to the hospital. The nurses were about to send me home bc I looked so calm 😭 they thought I had a scheduled induction or something. I truly breathed and relaxed every muscle during labor. It was actually euphoric. I never thought I’d be one of “those” woman to say that. Once in transition I had an incredibly intense sensation to push out of nowhere. The midwife positioned me in my side and had me push with the contractions after that. During my entire labor this was the only point I truly felt pain from pushing the head out. 15 minutes. And I had my baby. I cry thinking about it bc I was really anxious. I felt a sense of relaxation I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. Thank you thank you thank you.

I used this video on repeat for my labor/birth on July 30th. I gave birth after 6 and a half hours (midnight to 6:30am!!!) and showed up to my birthing center 9cm dilated. This video was a life saver! I stayed loose and in tune with my body and breathing and had the unmedicated natural birth I wanted ❤️

This was the most helpful thing in labor. I listened to this playlist almost every night for months before, but when i listened to it in labor, it took me to a different place. It was almost like having an out of body experience. Thank you for taking the time to make this playlist and giving us the ability to listen to it here on KZbin. My birth was extremely short and so beautiful. Thank you for being here with all of us mamas while we are in labor. Your words are so impactful and meaningful ❤❤❤

I listened to this track on loop during active labor on pitocin with no epidural. I used all the positions you talked about and had a doula give counter pressure. It took about 2.5 hours of active labor and she was in our arms! It really eased my mind to hear the calming meditation over and over! Thank you so much for sharing this! I loved your videos while preparing for the birth of our 4th child. I had to be induced when she was 8 days past her due date as it was recommended by our doctor.

I don't know if you'll ever read this, but I'll put it here anyway for the sake of others. These meditiations are so powerful. I listened to them on and off in the second and third trimesters but regularly only when I hit full term. It was hard to prepare myself physically with workouts and exercise, having a year old toddler to handle as well. But this time around labour was all a mind game and Bridget Teyler's meditiations helped so much. This particular one was playing on the drive to the hospital too. I wanted to labour at home as much as possible and I didnt think I was that far along. But I reached the hospital at 10 cm dilated, already feeling the urge to push in the car. So there you go. I'm so thankful, Bridget. Much love from India.

I started listening to this even though I’m not currently pregnant, and I just cried through it. I hope so badly to be able to have a second baby to try to redeem the traumatic, hard, horrible first birthing experience I had. I listen to meditations like this and I just feel so sad that I didn’t have my hands on this to help me cope before my first labor.

Having a second baby just to redeem a bad birth experience is not a good reason to have a second baby, it is actually selfish. The birth experience in itself unless you or your baby have permanent physical damage is secondary and should not be the focus. The focus should be that the baby and the mother are alive and healthy. What is a great birthing experience worth if the baby dies? Nothing. Children are a gift and a blessing and they do not come to this world to redeem and solve our problems.
@tarahpi78212 жыл бұрын
That can be so mentally scarring to have had such a traumatic and horrible experience. No one knows exactly what you or your baby went through, but you do. You are the one that lives with whatever those things were and it obviously traumatized/bothers and hurts til this day … and you wish you could undo it or change it, but the problem is you can’t. It can’t be done. You must find a way to come to grips with that, release that experience knowing that you did your best with what you knew and under the circumstances…and most importantly, you brought your beautiful baby into the world, despite whatever it took for your baby to be born. This is now a part of YOUR story. And it can help others. Your second birth, if/when it happens is a separate unique experience that I hope will bring joy. All of it is YOUR special story. Own every bit ❤️ Peace and blessings

This time I’m creating a playlist with so many of ur affirmation videos to help me calm down. I’ve listened to a few of them this morning and I already feel better and more confident about my upcoming birth. I’m hoping to be alot more relaxed this time and able to handle the pain. i gave birth on 2•11•2023 to our second baby at home unassisted. I listened to this twice when my contractions were 2 minutes apart. i went walking for 20 minutes after listening to this. after walking, my mucus plug came out then minutes later my water broke. within 20 minutes i gave birth to our baby boy in our bathroom 🥹 baby is healthy and we’re resting. this meditation helped me so much in focusing on my breath and the movement of baby.

These meditations were so great to listen to in the days leading up to birth. I felt confident and ready for it. On the day I started labor, I found it very difficult to seperate myself from the pain and pressures of labor. I was really hoping I could keep my cool and breathe through it, but I realized that it takes a very dedicated and deep meditation practice to be able to do that. A few days of practice wasn't close to being enough. I screamed and cried a lot, but in the end that was very therapeutic for me and baby came out healthy and happy. 🥰 It's just interesting to have such a big difference between expectation and reality. If I could do it over again I would practice these meditations daily from the get go! Thank you for sharing 🙌

After 8 hours of slow progress in labor with my second baby I decided to put on the playlist i made of all your meditations. I went from 6cm to birthing my baby within 5 hours! We had to induce labor at 37 weeks in a hospital setting and I was so nervous because my first child was a traumatic birth center transfer to hospital after days of hard labor. But after relaxing and swaying to the sounds of your voice I was able to progress SO FAST and have my second baby girl in my arms soon after! Thank you!!!!
