This technique is pretty powerful especially because it really allows you to be contemplating constantly throughout the day no matter what. Even if one thinks "oh I got too busy and forgot to note" - well ok when you realize that just note "forgetting" and reflect on what it feels like to forget and so paradoxically if you do this you actually did not forget.

Good observation. The remembering becomes more prevalent and the senses become primary naturally, with time. Always keeping part of attention rooted in the body is powerful part of this practice.

This is interesting; I find that I have been doing this for a number of months but for short periods. I will try this today, thank you for sharing.

The first day I was successful approximately 10% of the time. Yesterday, approximately 20% of my waking day. I will try again today, thist is a good tool to facilitate awareness in the development of both thought process and patterns of awareness focus.

This technique is is quite good! Also, it's way to easy to not at least give it a try. 😉

why is your religion so focused on mind and body? where are the teachings on social issues, political issues, theology, ethics, morals, purification of the heart, etc?

It's not a religion. It's a set of techniques that lead to clear perception of reality. All those issues you mentioned then appear in a different light.

@@ConsciousDevelopment you mean those issues I mentioned become unimportant. That is the danger of your philosophy, its just a way to numb a human being from natural passions and emotions

@@AbdulKhader-786 no that would mean to exclude those feelings from investigation, which is not insight meditation. Seeing clearly means to see everything clearly without exclusion.
