BRILLIANT!!! I love this so much! So powerful, so hard-hitting, and so so beautiful. As a child of an immigrant, I can never feel/undertand the pain and struggles they went through but I do feel pain when trying to get others to understand why we are worthy of being here. These poems encapsulated the emotions we feel so beautifully and I will definitely be purchasing this novel!
