Remember, its a positive displacement machine. Volume should be the same in bypass or thru the injector. Only difference is the machine has to work harder thru the smaller orfice of the injector to get the same volume as bypass.

Great info and video. I'd like to see the flow difference between the bypass vs injector and rinse nozzle that we'd use on a Jrod. You've inspired me to do that on my machine. ✌

Dual port chemical injectors: Can you use both ports at once to make the output stronger? When would you use a dual port injector?

This I don’t know. I hear mixed reviews
@sundown7983 жыл бұрын
Typically they are used with a marker dye. You need to draw your SH separate from the dye as the SH will spoil the dye if batch mixed. They work ok.

Joe when I did a test on my 5.5gpm unit through my DS injector I setup a gallon of water through the injector and in the measured container it was 20 gallons of water captured. So right now I’m figuring the ds injector is diluting at a 19:1 ratio even though it’s a 5-8gpm ds injector.
@powerfulimprovements3 жыл бұрын
Right. So .625 at the tip 20:1
@vansage26913 жыл бұрын
That’s right and for the most part it’s still cleaning. I don’t have the super sucker injector but if I have to hit something a second time that’s what the line shot after flipping to rinse is for.

Hi Joe, Thanks for the flow test video. That helps a lot. Interesting how just using the sud sucker chemical injector by itself you still applied a less solution. I thought you would be getting 2% - 2.5% with that injector. Very interesting 🤔... Michael C - (WA)

@@powerfulimprovements Joe, doesn't the super suds sucker chemical injector come with extra injector sizes? Maybe you have the wrong one on for your machine. You might have #2 (5 -6.5) and maybe need #1 (3 - 5). I could be wrong just a thought.

@@danielm9636 You can use a 65 gallon or 100 gallon. Remember you don't carry the buffer tank full. Half way or a little less. When you get to the clients house you hook up first. Then when you are getting ready it will fill up. I hope that helps.

Thanks for video. I've been cleaning the condos this week. (They are huge!) and to save on chem like a cheapo I've been 12volting everything with a 0.5% SH mix, and to my surprise it's been working real nice to get rid of the pores and some heavy mold/Algae (less than 5 minutes dwel) I think with the nice weather at the moment also helps to save on chem.

Hey Joe great video as usual. I have had a great experience using this stainless steel injector and metering tips. www.dultmeier.com/products/0.737.6040/13209# and www.dultmeier.com/products/search/1030#. I stepped down in orifice size since I'm running 200' of hose (my pressure washer is a 4gpm I bought the one for a 2-3gpm). This injector is very corrosion resistant like the one you have but has metering tips that screw into the barbed fitting that allow you to change the chemical draw rate. I tested the injector with some of the different proportioners and without any proportioner I was getting 1:7 ratio. Anyways, I appreciate you and your channel.
@powerfulimprovements3 жыл бұрын
1:7 is great. I’d like to get that and then meter it down as needed
