Might have an air leak since your pulling from a tank. So either you have a vacuum leak causing it not to pull sufficient water supply to feed the 200 ft or it doesn't like to draw well from the entry point you are drawing from and may want to draw from a lower point so gravity can feed the water.

Home Depot (then try Lowe’s) has some hard grey plastic barbs in the plumbing section that work just fine… Don’t “have” to use schedule 80. FYI, Tractor supply does not, only nylon barbs in those smaller sizes. Or try Amazon maybe? I think it’s an unloader issue, I got 3/8 hose on mine to a 3/8 barb x 1/2 npt elbow screwed straight (no bulkhead) into top of buffer tank. I set my unloader to about 2800 psi with an 8 gpm green tip. Good luck with it!

i see when you using xjet or m5 around 4:10 it seems to have weak not even spray at the sides? i only run a 4gpm machine with a 4gpm xjet but i find as well my xjet has weak sides of spray and not even a good slap i know u have 8gpm but still even watching your older videos i dont get the same height or pressure from it, i end just just using a 4banger not sure if it just a faulty xjet or what lol.

Hey Joe had simmilar issues I know how annoying that can be especially a new machine. When you set the K7 when you have your hand on the trigger is it bypassing? On the pressure sensitive type unloader you usually set them up "on the trigger" until their is hardly any bypassing. Just a little. Off the trigger should bypass like crazy. The VRT is my backup too it's really reliable and always works! Lol 🤣
@sundown7982 жыл бұрын
So basically if it's bypassing on the trigger no bueno.

Joe, just an observation and a question, why would you allow your machine to run idle and add up the hours while it's in by-pass. I just shut my machine down if it's gonna be longer than 5 minutes before I get back on the gun.

If that doesn't work long term, and the orifice isn't an option, maybe put that barb into the unloader and run a 1/4 line to the tank. Just a thought to make those threads hole the backpressure and not a barb at the far end of the line

Have you used a cat 7450? I'm looking at it as a flow sensitive option, but I change psi several times a day and would like the hand-friendly cap (instead of needing a wrench to change it). Can't tell if it has the orifice issue on the bypass side...

@powerfulimprovements Жыл бұрын
Didn’t make any changes to the unloader this season. And this issue has resolved. I used an 8-10 ft bypass line into the buffer tank. I believe because it’s a couple feet long than last year that it’s creating more friction and the problem has resolved
