I put you and Mike Carmody in the same statement when I say that, while you don’t have many views, its about the quality of the people who are watching your videos that matters. You two guys are making a HUGE impact on hundreds of business owners all over the place. Don’t get frustrated by the naysayers and internet trolls. You guys are the hustlers and teachers we all need. Probably the most versatile and efficient setup for house and flat work ! I bought some 1/2" flexible pressure hose cheap on a whim, running 1500psi on my k7 i got right at 9gpm out if a 7.5gpm on a 390 honda Frankenstein buiild. Run the red gun with all 1/2" fittings and ball valve. Seems that alot of fittings have a different id and arent consistant so the friction just builds thru the lines. Fun stuff man !! Thanks Joe

I love it!!! The soaker gun debates are heating up lol!!! Joe I completely agree with everything you are saying. A year ago when I started experimenting with it when the hype of the soaker guns started, I was told by a certain channel that will remain nameless that it wouldn’t work. I didn’t believe that and neither did you. The only thing I will say is that by turning down your unloader you are essentially turning down the volume of water. Everything else is spot on and I love watching your tests to prove if your opinion stands against the industry standards. I love it!!! To many other people think they have all of the answers and when something comes along to test their beliefs and standards they turn a blind eye to it. Keep up the great work man. I support you!!!

Hey Joe love the video’s mate, you have got me started on my side hussle! I almost enjoyed building my rig from your vid’s as much as washing. 1. I hope I don’t steer you wrong as I have zero experience but I believe that small spike you see is what the unloader requires to detect the flow has stopped so it can divert the flow to buffer tank. 2. Cutting the unloader down shouldn’t really affect your flow until you start reaching higher PSI values near the setting you have it too. EG if you set it at 2500psi you most likely won’t have full volume at 2500 but should be fine softwashing at 150 👍. It is more recommend from other channels to drop pressure using tip size as it puts less pressure of the unloader. 3. Watched an old video the other day when you had the mixer connected to downstreamer and tried to cut SH% with the SH valve. That would only strangle the suction flow, you would be better just adding in small amounts of water to cut % down. You might run SH at 3/4 and water at 1/8 for example 👍. Like everyone has mentioned you are such a great example for so many people to get out there and follow there dreams. All the new idea’s and things you try are what we all wonder but can’t be bothered trying to everyone gets so much excitement from them 🤙🍻
@powerfulimprovements2 жыл бұрын
Hi Adam. Thank you for following. You are correct about the spike. I flow tested at 2000 psi and no drop in volume. The proportioner theory is correct but doesn’t necessarily work as expected in practice because the valving is so much larger than the draw line. Valving would need to be 1/4”. At least this is what I’m finding in practice

I wonder if it surges at all if you slowly release the trigger? Seems like a trigger stop would make sense but have it setup so it can be moved that last 1/4” so the gun can completely close. Like the clip that folds out preventing the ability to pull the trigger.

There is no question the Red and Blue guns are far better constructed than any PW gun available. It is all stainless steel and over moulded unlike PW guns which are two piece. If you are putting 2000psi into a 50' 3/8" hose the psi at 50' would be 1985psi, 1880psi at 100' and 1522 at 200'. If you reduce the pressure to 1000psi the psi at 100' would be 880psi, at 200' 522psi. 3500psi x 100' x 3/8" = 3022psi 3500psi x 200' x3/8" = 2545psi
@Mark_The_Mayven2 жыл бұрын
Test one using the wand with a tip(green) inserted is creating back pressure, but your follow up test on the “red“ gun is never going to have back pressure as it’s basically a wide open orifice which is allowing flow. From what I recall more flow = less pressure More pressure = less flow 🤔😳
@powerfulimprovements2 жыл бұрын
? ? Large hole = low pressure Small hole = higher pressure Does not necessarily restrict flow unless you go too small.

@symplemynd572 жыл бұрын
What size green tip are you using? Is it for your 8gpm or for your 5.5gpm? Your pressures will vary greatly. The red gun shouldn't be used with a pressure trapped unloader. Your flow sensitive unloader doesn't put out that kind of pressures because of the size of the red gun nozzle.

Ok so i bought this gun and running 8.5gpm and set my pressure at 2500psi at gun with correct tip and the zk1 unloader valve. I change to the red gun and i cannot get it to adjust to a straight stream. It's kind of a triple steam that don't really shoot very far. Any thoughts as to why i cannot get it to adjust to a straight stream as you seem to be getting? I'm really bummed out and disappointed. I was pretty excited to buy this after watching your video. Something off is going on with the red gun. It’s suppose to gauge at what the machine is putting out. That’s why most people were saying the gun wouldn’t hold up. I had my gauge at the machine so I could know what pressure my hose was seeing. It’s not suppose to change no matter what gun you use because it is the output of the unloaded/machine. It should only change when you are shooting because of the flow the gun allows through it. It’s strange. Lesson for all of us!
@powerfulimprovements2 жыл бұрын
It’s the K7 unloader that makes the difference. It’s flow actuated not trap pressure like a vrt3 which is likely what you have. Not the same thing
