AC is a different game with many different cars and racing series, physics and FFB compared to ACC, which is focussing on SRO GT4 and GT3.

@@PowerQ going through a lot of ACC content I noticed a lot of ppl drove Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO, so did I. But repeating others is boring. I have soft spot for the Porsche. So I choose a cool car for myself. I did some research of course, watched your video about the Porsche.

I feel the same way, I chose the Lexus as it fit my driving style better, but also because it isn't overused, makes me feel a little more unique

Right decision! Another Porsche main here, the car is just something completely different compared to other cars. The beautiful looks and RR car feel. It kinda feels like that the Porsche was buffed a bit after the update so it’s the best time to drive the Porsche atm.

I‘m struggling. Have been out of the game for a couple of months, drove the Porsche before and with the 1.8 update, that‘s what I took out. Crashed like a million times, felt like a total noob, took the M4 for a spin and loved it. Don‘t know whether to stick to my guns (beloved Porsche) and make it work or switch to the BMW (which I also like, but not as much as that 911)…

I chose the 720s and stuck with that until the M4 got released, now i use that. both really nice to drive and really fun to find the limits of both cars in different ways 😅

Hi mate ! I watch your video this morning and be surprised to follow the same car changes since i start the game. I began with the nissan because i love this car ; but after a few months i switch to the lexus because it match with my driving style; maybe because nissan used me to drive front engine car . Atm i am still driving the Lexus ; i feel really stable with this one . Every Time i try an other one i’m happy to be back at it .

I started with the Ferrari 488 EVO, I like it even though it has it's issues. Have also tried the AMR Vantage V8 but I think it's a bit to snappy in the rear without a proper setup I suppose, think I might stick to the ferrari eventhough it's really bad over curbs

i like the AM v8 a lot, it is my main one. I struggled at the beggining in corner entry (a happy rear), but once dominated that, I love how stable is in mid corner. Is it competitive enough?

Like many of your vids, another one true and insightful. One question though, which bothers me for some time : How do you explain "Driving Style" when talking to a newbie ? Many beginners get the wise advise, to take are car which suits their driving style. Now as a beginner, I would myself ask : What is a driving style and which would be mine and how would a car I don't know yet fit to that ? Hell I don't even know whether I like a Frontengine, Mid-Engine or rear-engine powered car. I am happy to get around the track without spinning too much. I take from the comment sections of many well known simracing Utube channels, that people starting out in ACC ( or any other of the dry hard sims ) are either those who have some experience with other sims or are newcomers with no or just arcade experience. Some have not even driven a mormal car on regular roads yet , let alone a race-car on track. The latter ones tend to be frustrated after a short while and become somewhat disillusioned about their real skills. I believe, no matter which car you choose as a beginner in ACC ( stands for all other sims ) , you need to accept it's simply die hard to become good at it. And, as a consequence, it is as difficult as driving the "real thing". I think, people should adjust their expectations first and be humble as they are just beginners. Accept, this is a completely new experience and you start from scratch. Now the sheer number of different cars leaves some a bit clueless. Hence can only second PowerQs advice and take one car you really like ( because of it looks, sound, whatever ) and make it work as best as possible on each of the tracks. That means not 100hrs or so, but maybe 10 times as much. Really quick people I see on R3E Leaderbords or on ACC have literally thousands of hours in these sims. Most probably on less then a handful of cars, if so many. Most of todays F1 drivers started out at the age of 4 years with Mini-Carts. So by the time they join F3 Feederseries, they have already years of track experience and several podiums under their belt. Then come another 2 - 5 years in F3/F2 before they might get a cockpit in F1. So just combine that with their hours in professional simulators and you come to the same result as scientists who claim, to become a real expert in anyone thing, it takes about 10.000hrs of intensive and progressive learning. Long story short : For taking a quick rush in simracing, there are way better products then AC, ACC, R3E, iRacing, rF2 and AMS2.

I would say that your driving style can be defined by how you instinctively handle a car, and a car can fit that driving style if it reacts to your inputs in a way you expected.

@@PowerQ Thanks for coming back so quickly, Jeff. I had something different in mind. More along the lines of "smooth or aggressive" , balanced, defensive or proactive. Late Braker, or rather slow in and fast out. Aggressive on brake and throttle or more sensitive....different cars are made for different ways of driving. My reallive Supra 3.0 can take a fair share of aggressiveness but I have to be careful with it's brakes. While my C3 will spin all the time if driven too aggressively (Diff) . Despite her aggressive looks she likes more a round and soft way of driving with lower revs ....Same with my motorbikes. My BMW RS wanted to be driven aggressively while the BMW Roadster ( flat Twin) liked a more round style with not too harsh breaking ..both were quite fast though when driven correctly....

I've been loving the Aston Matrin V12. Fast and stable, but still agile enough, I do notice some understeer, but it seems easy to tune out. I'll try the M4 again, I didn't use it for very long, and I'm not sure I'm a fan of the AMR V8. The 720S was fun, and I found it very easy to drive, But I couldn't get closer than .750 slower than the Aston V12 on Laguna.

I only play in VR, so I choose based on the interior and the digital dash display since I can't see the HUD items well in VR because they float a bit behind me and I have to lean back to see the HUD items. And the BMW is the worst interior. I hate to admit it, but the car that chose me is the Nissan. I didn't want to choose it, because it looks like a heavy brick. However, when I brake with the other cars I tend to go "Oh, I should've braked sooner," or "I should've braked later." But in the Nissan it always agrees with my natural braking points. Also, I don't think I could ever possibly spin out in the Nissan, I can always save it even when the tail is way out there. And the interior and the dash is good in VR. Also it has a nice sound, not the best, but still pleasant. My 2nd choice is Aston Martin or AMG. So I guess Front engine is for me. But if I go Mid Engine then the Audi is my favorite followed by the Ferrari. None of the other cars in the game suit me. But the NSX feels very unique and I am fast with it, but it is too dangerous for long races where I can't risk a single mistake.

Hi Power Im a beginner and just completed 30 laps of Fank on Chomps but because I have an Xbox series X And I can't change drivers so 30 laps of Frank and Chomps after the 30 laps my SA didn't move from 19 . But I did make 3 errors that I know of, Therefore Ill keep at it.

I've looked down and nobody is talking about the Audi which I love and it's confusing me. 🤣 Proper nippy little thing... great on corners with a bit of Toe in and a touch of camber, and the right Diff setting. Did few laps in all of em and chose that and stuck with it.

I can confirm this is true. made the mistake of choosing the Porsche as my first car. literally have to tune towards understeer at every track because it's so tail happy and if your steering wheel is half a centimeter off center while you brake, that's you straight into a wall LOL not a fun car as a noob. rewarding once you get the hang of it but that's after 20 hours of wrestling with it.
