From some forum, this system take a long time to tune it right in idle and expand your fuel mileage, but once your get it right you are golden… well..

I see this system don't manage any of the dizzy timing issues that may come up. Like having a knock sensor that retards the dizzy when it's needed. How our these issues handled? Thanks for any feed back RM

I don’t understand why people think they can’t daily drive a carb lol. Our ancestors did it their whole life. I drove a 69 Chevy with carb daily for over 10 years. I never had trouble whatsoever. Only reason I like this EFI would be better gas mileage

I installed it 3 diffrent times on my 70 vette... It went back to Edelbrock for updating and it still did not work.... I finally pulled it off and tossed it in the junkyard... Went back to my Holly carb

I havent been able to get any feedback. I want to know if I can put this unit on my 1992 5.7tbi k2500 and integrate it so it will still pass emissions. Is it economically possible? Will the rest of the equipment still function? Or do i need someone else's unit? A little info goes a long way.

Does this have a fuel command center? Those FCC are complete junk in the heat. They boil the gas and shut the efi down. Also, does this system have the loud hissing through the unit like FiTech?

Frank Sells yes that's from the idle air control motor, i am fixing an Estreet 1 early version on a customers 74 LS4 vette and it's overal a junk system, some parts work, some don't, total head ache so far, the FAST efi setups are Much better imo

i live in Georgia and its cold down here right now. I have a 70montecarlo with a 350 and we have the edelbrock 1806 carburator with electric choke. we just rebuilt the motor and the weirdest thing is the car started right up didnt have to give it gas or anything. I was very suprised

Few questions. Eventually I'd like to put a Weiand 142 low psi boost probably 8 psi max possibly lower. I have a mild built 350 going in my jeep. Probably get this first before the weiand 142. Will it learn to run with the blower? Especially sense it would be a pretty low boost. And can I get some good low end torque out of it? Also snorkel wise what do you guys suggest. or should I stick with my thunder 650 edelbrock.

2 things.....#1 regardless of what edelbrock tells you this does NOT work on all engine set ups, I'm in the process of pulling the entire system out and sending it back. #2 edelbrock is discontinuing this set up and going with multi port fuel injection systems only,....absolute nightmare. Got that from the horses mouth.

Edelbrock has more than 30 years experience with EFI? um ok so what product did they offer in the 90s? Edelbrock "did it till they did it right" = realized they were late to the game "it's not gonna die on you at the light" wow, high standard! so what happened to the Edelbrock E-Street EFI product? go to their website and find out for yourself, hint: look in their Legacy section, LOL

MPG improvement comes mainly from the internal design of the engine... proper cam spec.s, combustion chamber shape, piston design, compression ratio...

It will work on ANYTHING with the correct 4150 mounting flange.

The price point ($2,000) of this system needs some work. A cheaper DIY version of this would be cool. They could also leave out the WiFi device and just make a free Android/iPhone app.
