This video makes it seem that being bipolar is like having anxiety because that’s how it’s explained. That’s interesting because it’s different from the explanation from other videos that explain the severity of this mental illness and talks about in terms of extreme highs and extreme lows. This video makes it seem like it can be managed with breathing and counting. You also said you had a manic episode but you don’t explain what it is and what happens during this time. I’m watching these type of videos because my boyfriend just told me he’s bipolar. From this video I now feel this isn’t a big deal and it’s manageable with breathing and the power of controlling thoughts. Is this correct?
