Pan had been working great, I think it really needed a fluid change the most.

I’m thinking about putting the shallow pan on my 21 platinum but no dealership wants to install it(they said it wouldn’t fit or it’ll leak) so I guess I’ll do it myself, I wanted an update before diving in so thanks for the reply

What would you think of moving some of the oem magnets to the ppe pan?

How much oil did you get the right level at?

Just use a Mityvac fluid extractor, thru the port. Check stone cold. Extractor has a 9 quart graduated capacity. NO NEED TO DROP THE PAN. Use AMSOIL ULV FLUID, BLUE CAP

What is the total height of the pan? Trying to find specs. Also, how much clearance ya have left after install?

I'm lowered but about 5" to the ground

Will the lack of heat shields cause any issues ?

@@lucian7182 I have found that in the morning my 6 mile commute isnt quite enough to get full temperature now. Its not all the way warmed up until I go home for lunch. I dont have anywhere to race it on the way to work though so its not a big deal. But good peace of mind of the racetrack, keeps it average temp.

I just received a pan from PPE for the trans in my 2023 Explorer and it did not come with a gasket. What material did you use for the bead of gasket material that is visible in your new pan ?

Have you had any issues with your transmission? Since the 10 speed transmission is a known issue.

Only because it was a 10R60 making 600 lb ft with the stock turbos and nitrous. Pan works great, I have it on my new transmission as well.

Do you have the part number for the filter? I see both with the smaller hole, and with the larger hole and the extended part around the hole, not sure which one is the newest version.
