@@paintworkbyjr I was in a shop the other day and guy had a drop too 70's impala he's doing Kandy brandwine, all HOK. So I asked how much did he charge, he said 8,500$ proudly. I'm like that's dumb ur doing all that work for $5k cause u know the materials are $3500. Talk about bad business

@@juanmata2433 I won't touch a kandy for no less than 12k. Materials are probably more than 3500 nowadays

Why do you have so many paint n body youtube channels '' I remember watching you about 3-4 yrs ago''
@paintworkbyjr2 ай бұрын
I somehow lost my password and could never get back into my channel.

It's been about 10 year's since I've sprayed ppg I have a complete job so I bought the 4000 over the 3000 like you recommend does it buff better if you let it set for a few days or should I buff it the next day
@paintworkbyjr24 күн бұрын
The 4000 is much better than the 3000. Use 85 hardner and spray back to back coats and your golden. Buffs much better also

No heat I bet that’s interesting. I work in a crappy homemade booth painting boats at the moment and the heater is just a hole cut in the wall with homemade ductwork connected to an eclectic heater that has a fan. Then we just put filters on each side. Maybe your shop could invent in something simple like that.
@paintworkbyjr2 ай бұрын
@nickcrill7718 I know my boss looking into heat for the booth. It's older booth but keeping it and clean prep work them jobs come out pretty clean. Now once it cools down gotta make adjustments but until then I'm gonna keep pushing them out
