Can it record "unlimited" video? People keep telling me it can. I need a camera that does GREAT in low light. That I can put on a tripod, press record, and let it record for an hour. Will this do that? I've been told it will stop at 4GB video files, but then it will start recording again asap. True?

I bought g7 with 14-140ii as a kit 2 years ago. It was not expensive. I was amazed by the image quality and versatile of such combo. Some people criticize about inferior high iso of m4/3, but with power OIS, I manage to use 1/30s handheld at tele end with sharp image. In fact, the high iso is similar to older APSC e.g. EOS70D.

What are your thoughts on how to correct its one flaw, the poor auto focus? My first 2 videos had the background constantly going in and out of focus, which is a huge distraction.

I just got one! I intend to use it as a B-cam to m GH5. I shoot live bands, and having a 4K B-cam, with the ability to re-frame, zoom, and pan, just like my main cam, will open up many more creative possibilities for me.

excellent video and a good info, iam a nikon dslr shooter for the past 35 years now a days i find the bulky dslr are pain in the neck so i bought a lumix g7 with two lenses 14 to 42 and 45 to 150, still learning the mirrorless menu and it is so light , no neck pain and easy to carry, make more videos like this so i can learn a lot from you .

@@PrabhjotSinghTech the sigma 18-35 with the viltrox speedbooster. The image quality is also not very sharp... I don't know, what i am doing wrong

So for my settings I generally prefer the standard or natural picture profile With contrast -3 Sharpness -3 Noise reduction -5 Saturation -2 or -3 And yes the 18-35 and efm2 does result in a slightly soft image wide open at f1.1, If sharpness is what you want try stopping down to f1.8 Also maybe try increasing the contrast and sharpness in the picture profile if that helps your results!! Let me know if I answered your question or not!! ✌️😀

I love the colors it produces and quality on the camera but the one issue i have is the auto focus..is there a site that shows you how to use the proper auto focus settings ..i used the camera as a b camera but would love to use it as the A camera till i upgrade the fz2500 . Any recomendation for a great auto focus settings. Great video by the way

i JUST bought this Camera and did an unboxing of it. I also watched your 3 best lenses for this, of course when i purchased mine it came with the 14-42mm Lens so I was mainly looking for another lens kit that would allow me a little further out view while shooting video as this is my Main Vlogging Camera Now. So how do you know what len's work on camera's? what I mean is how do find out which lens work on which camera's as I've seen some len's that are nice...but don't look like they would Fit?

Just search for lenses with micro four thirds mount ( mft or m43 ), all the lenses that have mft mount will work with this camera

When shooting the Star Wars miniatures you had black lines going across bright objects. I get that too. Is that normal?

That is a feature called zebra lines which tells if an object is too bright, you can turn it off in the settings if you want.

It depends on the size of the tripod quick release plate, if it's big enough than yeah you have to remove it to change the battery

Its wins against the A6000..being the color balance and 4k..but lacks against the a6300...AF, dynamic range, and low light..however, a6300 has overheating issues without firmware updates. And in low light the color gets gloomy and clipped.

Have this camera. All it can give is good quality HD kind of look in its 4K footage. In other words its 4K is real bad an not like true 4K, it always looks like just 1080p footage or upscaled 1080p to 4K. A GoPro given good daylight can produce sharper and more brilliant pictures than this camera. But ofcourse no shallow DOF or interchangeable lenses i understand. Definitely can NOT be used for even semi professional work.
