Do you have any tips about salary negotiation? Another question is how do you stay up to date with all the guidelines? The Asthma guidelines were just recently updated and the COVID guidelines have been fluid...so how do you stay current?

I just accepted a primary care NP position. I researched the most professional ways to negotiate, but was surprised when they did not negotiate--at all! I work for a large health system and they base their salaries on years as a NP. It is a set salary with no negotiation room. I thought this was a little dissapointing, but it was a fair salary.

I want to get into urgent care because there is so much to learn. I am will start my new job soon in internal medicine which I love. Any recommendations on how to get hired in Michigan. Keep up the good work.
