I had just started getting into calligraphy just out of highschool when life took an exciting new turn for me as I went on to EMT school. Through the years, I still liked it but when life gets busy with home and a family, sometimes we find interest and joy in living and forget about something we used to like doing. I'm now getting back into it now that kids are all grown and gone except our 13 yr old daughter. I used to use the markers too with pressure and angles...kind of trial by error. I used brush too but still tried progressing with the markers too. Being so new into it, I wish I'd have kept on with it and made more time writing. Thank you for these videos. It's been so long it took a bit of a refresher and I have enjoyed watching your techniques and tips. They have helped greatly in getting back on track. I look forward to more. Have a blessed day.

Some of my favorite letterers are left handed! I think the concepts are similar, but you may need to try rotating your paper much more, and go slowly so the ink dries. Thank you for watching!!

Hi Zuni! Thanks! I really like the Crayola Broad Lines, the artline stix, and Tombow brush pens. The Crayolas are inexpensive, which is why I like them so much, but they are not a traditional brush tip pen. The others are brush tip pens. Hope this helps!

I don't think it is easier, since in cursive you don't lift your pen. In hand lettering like this, you stop almost after each letter. It is more of a practice daily type of thing that helps the most!
