When a rider puts their foot down over fear of falling their is an instinct that is over-riding our reason. The truth is, if a powerful motor driven machine that weighs in excess of 700 pounds is deciding for us - which it is not - that it’s going to fall - which it cannot - our silly little leg would not stop that. Our use of the friction zone and preloaded power along with feathering the clutch will motor us out of that fear of a fall. it is hard for me to be quiet when I hear you speak these wisdoms outloud, Robert. I can’t wait to hear when you start incorporating “target fixation” and its evils into your repertoire. … I hope I didn’t give away a finale! It’s snowing here today, so I am living “vicariously through” you, Brother. Me iron ponies are resting in their stables and we are ‘Michiganing’… 😢so here I am.

That was funny how you called that guy out for sounding like Jay from motorcycle drop guards. I have talked to him multiple time and he has a strong southern draw. I have the motorcycle drop guards on my bike after hearing about them from you. Why aren't you using motorcycle drop guards on your new 2023 CVO, those bikes are crazy expensive!

My CVO has guards front and back so it’s already protected. Drop guards just protect the guards.

Not at all. It has engine guards and she didn’t have saddlebag guards so we removed the bags.

Robert, I also have an 08 FLHRC same color but with buck horn bars that make me lean too far forward. I'd like to get the barsTrevor has on his bike. Do you happen to know what size those are? 10-12? As an accomplished motorcycle rider and teacher, I have a question about my steering on my Harley Road Glide. For some reason when I practice U-turns, the tighter I want to turn, the more my steering wants to fall all the way in. I have to use force to keep the steering from jamming in to the right (or left, depending on which way I am turning ). Is this normal, or do you think my steering is off in some way?

What happened to the tent that was big enough to fit a person and the bike during rainy weather what happened to the water vest with the jell cooling cells? P.S. interested in purchasing,another harley touring bike ([2017 road glide with screaming eagles manufacturers warranty power train suspension ,exhaust rims tires handle bar's ,grips,brake& clutch lever ,and nessary,signal&safely switches???the best possible equipment allowed under Screaming Eagles manufacturers warranty ☆☆☆☆☆{as long as the parts are the best for power train suspension etc. Performance ascetic beauty doesn't matter the head covers don't have to match so forth and so on . I've been following u on and of for about 10yrs or better. Like to see laidlaw HD get the money never been happy w Bartell P.S. ☆{2017 Cvos
