Dimash is No ordinary performer, he's a humanitarian

In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com By the way Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰. He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. First...huge thanks to so many Dears here explaining this MV and encouraging you to watch the live Almaty concert version. No need for me to repeat. Love all of the Dears' comments and suggestions...yes...read almost all before viewing your reaction....and love and agree with their comments. ❤️❤️❤️ I first heard the Almaty live version while watching the Almaty concert about one week into discovering Dimash. The MV version came later. Agree with everyone, this is a masterpiece but the live version shows his passion and commitment to peace. It shocked me, honestly, when he sang that last part. His emotion and commitment to his belief brought me to tears. That is Dimash. What a brave soul, artist, to go forward with his core message to the world. As he's said many times, all he can do is sing, but he gives more than he realizes with everything he performs and does. And this MV is the proof. Loved your reaction to this important MV and it's message. Think about it Prada West...the Dears community is a microcosm of our world when we are able to come together with and for love, peace, respect for each other, tolerance to differences, and acceptance of each other for a shared purpose... Dimash. He speaks so fondly of his Dears, they represent and understand him, his art, his message, with love and dignity, a word he's used to describe Dears. Hello Prada! Thank you so very much for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony and through his many charities. He is a Legend in the making and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. “People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony. the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. I absolutely love the way he represents ALL types of people, regardless of faith, that are walking together towards a better and more inclusive world. A fun fact!! Dimash does ALL of the male voices, save the light choir voices of males in the background. I wasn’t able to isolate the live version in Almaty that shows Dimash speaking before this song. 🥹 in essence, he talks about how children are so innocent, only learning hatred and jealousy, because they aren’t born with those feelings. He said that the rest of the world sure can learn a lot from children. I highly recommend that version if you can find it. The ending shows Dimash fully unleashing all that he has in his fiber into so much passion!! Then, he has to catch his breath to say, “We need peace”. It is stellar!!

The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya! (2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). I always so invested in the ending and for every reaction I watch to Dimash’s masterpiece, I am literally screaming through the screen to keep watching to the end! I believe I’ve only encountered two reactors who missed the written message, but the message is key! An earlier work from Dimash that hints at this work is War and Peace. ‘The Story of One Sky’ - an important fact: Every 3 years the ‘Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions’ is held in Kazakhstan. The Congress reports directly back to the United Nations and the final message at the end of ‘One Sky’ is a quote from the report submitted in 2019. In September 2022 Dimash was invited to perform at the ‘Seventh Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions’ and actually premiered (singing ‘live’) “The Story of One Sky” to over 100 religious leaders at this ‘closed’ event. These leaders responded with a standing ovation and referred to ‘One Sky’ as the unofficial anthem of the event. The following day Dimash was presented to Pope Francis and was given a medal and he received a blessing from the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Whamad el-Tayeb. So, choosing both the quote at the end of the song/MV and what he chooses to do in the ‘vocalise’ section of the song then becomes, to me anyway, more poignant and powerful. In the ‘vocalise’ there is, at the very least, the Muslim call to prayer, the Jewish Shofar, the Om of Buddhism and Hinduism and the bells of the Christian church so he has woven musical references of the world’s faiths together!

The 3 kids in the beginning are Dimash, and two friends. The girl chose Dimash over the other one, which is why he was standing there alone. Dimash found the symbols and made necklaces to show that they were now, and always would be friends... no matter what. Later on, was when they had grown into adulthood. The dictator was Damash's friend who got rejected by the girl. He and Dimash ended up on opposite sides of the war. The lady giving birth was the girl from the beginning, who was now married to Dimash. She was having their second child, their first being the girl that was killed that Dimash was screaming over. The baby... a son... was born, but the girl died in childbirth, and Dimash was shot and killed for killing the dictator. The boy grew up in that world and decided to follow in his father's footsteps and help people seek peace. It was him, at the end, who was leading the people.

I have a different opinion of the characters. I believe Dimash is the character drowning in the beginning scene and ends up back in the water after his death. Dimash is the father of the little girl and the newborn baby. Also think that the young boy who made the symbols/necklaces is the warmonger who used the symbol on his uniform.

War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he almost drowns. The three children are friends and their common external symbol is the necklace (gnomon). Both boys are in love with the girl. But she chooses “Dimash”. The other boy feels hurt. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which served as a nautical compass in ancient times. This symbol is upside down on the uniforms. (That's not how it works.) It's war. The children are grown and the two boys have parted ways. Dimash's childhood friend has become the country's president/general and mercilessly follows his twisted ideology. The Piper - based on the German legend “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”: The Pied Piper is a man who attracts rats with his flute. But the city lords don't want to pay him the money they had promised him. In revenge, he lures the town's children with his flute and disappears with them. The Piper in the song carries the idea of a saving war: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one.
