Dan does much the same with the Titanic song, My Heart Will Go On, ramping it up and metalizing the heck out of it. Another song that is so well done is Bring Me to Life, the Evanescence song. His original music is with his band Fearless. He has written other songs here and there too - for instance, the theme to Friday Night Tights is his. He also has songs with the band Oriens Reign. He was lead singer for them for a while so hes not listed in the credits online. Once you know him, you can pick out his voice in the songs.

Thank You! You are correct that Dan does do the audio and video separately. His early videos may be live. Any of his Witcher series songs - "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher," "Burn Butcher Burn," "The Song Of The White Wolf," and "Priscilla's Song" (there are two videos - one is close to the original and one is metal). love all things Dan. He has a ginormous fan base because he sings almost any genre, although I've not heard him do rap or anything classical. He does an opera song though. He also sings songs from musicals, classic rock and metal, and even some songs from video games (Pokeman theme song, for example). He does sing while doing his covers, but records it elsewhere for the final product. It's all him singing though. He has the song "Go the Distance", which has clips in the background of his videos through the years, including his first one uploaded to KZbin in 2010. so he's had his KZbin channel for 14 years and just several years ago was finally able to really make money off it.

Dan has a two studios now, one in his house and one in the garage. The garage studio was his second studio. He can't record audio in there due to car noises. He records audio in the house and video in his garage. When you saw him say he only uses one studio, that was before he got the second studio.

You are absolutely correct. He records in his home and videos in the garage. In the early years, he did not have 2 studuos, so a lot of people still think he only uses one studio. But he has progressed from that. He definitely sings it during the recording in the garage - it is just muted like you said.

Im pretty sure you are right that he pre-records the songs then sings it in the video and dubs over top. The reason I think this is true is because when he sang American Trilogy as a tribute to his dad who had passed away the week prior, he was crying while singing through part of it, and there is no way it would have sounded like it did unless he had pre-recorded it because it's pretty impossible to sing while crying. So yeah, I think people just misunderstood what you meant by lip-synching. I feel pretty much certain he has said in a podcast that he pre-records it and then sings along during the video.

You'll find his original music with his band (Fearless) on his channel under the album titled "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom" But you can't go wrong with anything Dan does. He could sing the phonebook and it would still be life changing. I would suggest his "Witcher" covers. My two favorites are "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" and "Burn Butcher Burn." It's hard to pick out just a few because everything he does is great - maybe his cover of Disney's "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from the animated film Mulan; his metal cover of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" brings new life to an overplayed song; to see his versatility, check out his "Music of the Night" from the Phantom of the Opera, and his "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar; his cover of Rhapsody's "Dawn of Victory" featuring Fabio Lione (former lead singer for Rhapsody) is out of this world! I think you'll thoroughly enjoy going down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole.

One of his covers, not getting a lot of reactions is, Fairy tale (originally by Shaman), the intro has operatic, switch to folkish and then metal. What stand out here is that almost the whole verse(metal) is done in one breath, and you can see how much it takes out of him, to do that, brilliant song, by the way. Another long screaming breath is Manowars, Black wind fire and steel.He has a band (Fearless), Tale with no end, on Confessori channel, another original called Where the eagles fly and a full album on Orions Reign channel called scores of war. He doesn't change everything up, he has some opera, rock, folk, etc on here. Lot of the covers, he actually makes better. He also has a lot of colabs and sings in 6 languages, English, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Latin and Japanese.Thanks for covering him

Thanks for your reaction. Dan is very skilled and sings a lot of different styles. His original music is awesome. It is with his band Fearless. He record his songs in his studio and he also sing it in the video. Then it is muted leaving the prerecorded song. Some of his earliest videos might be one takes, but I am not sure.
