A soulful, singing performance, gently shaping the beauty of this piece. So much better than the hard pressed, egocentric perfitmsnces of well known virtuosos

I know what you mean, some of the big names manage to make the piece sound boring, which is almost an achievement in itself. This one is great. Nigel Kennedy's version is one of the very best too.

This young lady plays this masterpiece of Kreisler better than most so-called great famous violinists in this forum. She keeps the style and does not go to swollen overrides and keeps the tempos that makes the melodious character of the piece come true. It's easy that I know, because I played the piece myself for many years, playing "over its ability", that is, too often then especially in the first part.

Think its fair to say the composer of this piece didn't just tinker around with notes and create this piece...some MASSIVE experience or realisation about something very profound could only inspire this art....but if that is true....what thought or experience do you think was the catalyst for this piece?

@dawnkormendi72257 жыл бұрын
Gret performance, although I found that she's rushing at some parts. Especially the first movement, where every note should be played with emphasis and equal importance. There should be "breath" taken between runs to show the pulse. Never-the-less, beautiful technique, and amazing talent!!!! Thank you :-)

Très belle interprétation, très musicale, que je préfère à celle de "grands virtuoses" qui foncent sans respirer, avec une énergie mal contrôlée et font trop peu de nuances.
@curaticac53913 жыл бұрын
Je crois que la plupart des violonistes essaient de la faire trop dramatique-spécialement la première partie-moi aussi je préfère son interprétation, je crois que c’est plus proche de l’intention de Kreisler.
