For how to make a prairie bird model rubber powered airplane, it's quite easy, because there are no curves on the wings and also the fuselage. As for the material for making the material, I used balsa wood for the construction of the fuselage, the wings of the plane and also the tail of the plane, including the front of the plane or the nose of the plane. Except for the propeller of this rubber-powered aircraft, I used bamboo from a skewer, and mica plastic. The secret of my Prairie Bird Rubber Powered Airplane is that it is lightweight, weighing only 9.8 grams without rubber with the usual thin plastic covering, although it could actually be even lighter because I still have super thin plastic with premium and very light balsa wood. .
This Prairie Bird Rubber Powered Airplane was designed and drawn by Bob Peck & traced for M.A.N by Ray Borden. The original size is 16 inches or 41 cm (approximately).

Magnificent!!! I lost count how many Prairie Birds I made and lost to trees, thermals, etc. Always delightful fliers, amazing performance if built light. You should try making floats for one and flying it off water, works great!
