Simply amazing and yet so modest. I was outbid on a full unused set of Cogelow skew chisels but didn't even know who they were named after. I just instinctively thought they looked useful for getting into challenging areas like I had experienced in my first carving. I'm bummed that I didn't bid more now but I decided to google Cogelow out of curiosity and was glad to find a true artist! Its nice to see someone really challenging themselves and having fun with the imagery. I was somewhat reminded of the Artist Red Grooms and the cartoonist R.Crumb whose imagery have a similar absurd humor and just a lot of fun to look at. There is also a Dutch master feel too as well as Americana.
