After watching your video I decided to get a pod go! I arrived at the church on Sunday with a backpack and my guitar, so easy to setup and the tones were great! Looking forward to downloading your template👍🎸🎸🎸🎸

You, sir, and this video in particular, have convinced me that buying a POD Go was a good idea to get away from my AC Thirty and my JoYo American and my JoYo American and my Torpedo CAB and my M9 and my etc etc etc etc. I have not regretted it a single bit. Thank you so very much.

Man, thank you so much! Been in P&W for over 40 years, mostly bass but lately there has been a need for guitar since we have another bass player. Bass is my first love as far as music goes. The very reason I started playing guitar is to be flexible in these situations. My leader wants me on guitar and likes my playing even though I am not the greatest of players. Have not had to think about guitar tone for a while and looked at the Helix but out of my price range. Pod Go seems perfect. Your videos have helped me make the decision to make that investment. I mostly use my Mexican made Standard Strat modified with DiMarzio FG2108 Fast Track pickups. Thanks for your help.

Great video, Derek! I like those little tricks you're using to get some flexibility out of the drives. That was definitely something I was worried about in having limited block assignments.

Man, trying to figure out why my sound is coming out kinda muffled. I’m running my pod go into a Line 6 spider III. I’m having a hard time balancing the channel volume, and master volume on the amp with the volume knob on the pod go and the volume from my guitar. I have drive,bass, mid, and treble all the way down on my amp so I can get a truer audio from the pod go. Can seem to figure out how to get rid of the muffled sound. And to top it off I have to crank it almost up to 9 on my guitar to hear something,,,, if I’m on like 3 on the volume of my guitar I can’t really hear it.

Nice tones. Do you know if I can autoset the tap BPM from Ableton to the Pod Go?
@dhmusic84613 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you can using USB MIDI. To be honest I don't know specifically how do that. But I'm sure there's a video or some kind of tutorial online about it

I’m getting back to guitar after 10 years and wow the technology now is awesome! so Any options- because budgetwise I either go with this stompbox/ multi effects path or midi controller + mainstage (Sundaysounds) path.. so what’s the most practical way to spend $400?
@dhmusic84614 жыл бұрын
Honestly I'd advise you to save another $50 and buy a Pod Go lol much more reliable and versatile imo

Hi, the 4 templates that you have created & shared - are they best used in snapshot mode? Thanks
@dhmusic84614 жыл бұрын
Yes and no LOL. So how I intended them to be used is to pick the snapshot that has the right amount of delay and Reverb for your setting. Then you would use pedalboard mode to turn on and off different effects as needed
@manspring1124 жыл бұрын
Great review! Does the delay setting have an option for a dotted eighth note?
@dhmusic84614 жыл бұрын
It does. You can use any note value really. I just use it that way so I can get 2 different delays (quarter and dotted eighth) using just one block

@@dhmusic8461 any different in the tones with Helix and this Pod Go ?
@dhmusic84614 жыл бұрын
@@metelway that's a tough yet simple question lol Short answer YES it has the exact same modeling as the HX Family BUT due to the Pod haven't less processing power there are certain things you cant do on it that you can on the Helix. For most people that's no problem but I would definitely do your research and determine what needs you have and choose accordingly. As far as tone goes they are 100% equal. The only difference is in the functionality

Hello, I'm new to the Pod Go and have been watching your videos. Any chance you could upload or send me the Lion & The Lamb preset you have? Many Thanks
@dhmusic84614 жыл бұрын
Hey Micheal you can actually download that preset from the link in the description. It's just the AC30 template but I changed to tempo to match the original recording (Idk what that is off the top of my head) That's the whole point of the presets in this video. To be a template for these songs
@eddieaguas83524 жыл бұрын
Hey brutha! So which model gfs retrotrons are you using in this video? Are these the ones you said in another video that you liked them but you thought they were too humbuckery? And then I think you said you were changing them out for some trons...🤔 If you you did change them out for trons, which ones did you go with? And are you happy with them? Love your playing/tones! Bless you man! 🎶🙌🏼👍🏼
@dhmusic84614 жыл бұрын
