Prakash Behera's Story of Hope

Prakash Behera cannot trace back to the exact moment he fell unwell, but he describes it as a restless period in his life. He used to wander around his community, the Satapada village, Puri district, Odisha, unable to sleep or eat.
After one of our field partner noticed Prakash roaming around, they intervened, through which his mental illness was diagnosed accurately.
Now, a few months later, he is able to live with dignity, regain respect from his immediate family members and community.
