I’ve seen it made before in some magazine from the 70s or early 80s, except the decoration was waaaay more intricate/detailed. Blend the mashpots with avocado and you got green. Mix with purée carrots you got orange. Mix with tydee bowl tablets and you got blue! Fantastic look if you can pull it off!

I put googly eyes on everything I could find in the house when my parents went on vacation years ago. I got an irate call when they got home: "WHERE DID YOU PUT THEM ALL? WE'VE BEEN PULLING THEM OFF THINGS FOR AN HOUR AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE ALL GONE!" Googly eyes have been banned. Best prank was when my parents went on a trip for their anniversary. I got a glass marker & wrote on every van window: "Honeymooners!", "Just Married!", &/or "Honk For Kiss!" They got so many honks they had to stop after an hour to wash it off as Dad almost wrecked the car from getting so freaked out. Yeah, those markers have been banned as well. 😂
