Uncle Justin the issue is, Gordon has all these TV shows to find the top chefs who pour all their hearts out, and when they rightfully won they take great pride in becoming head chefs at Gordon’s restaurant. The spotlight is on them for a year or maybe even less so until another one of his restaurants open up, then they just don’t have the same passion and care because they know they’re pretty much safe in that job.

We got to see her "before" and in a small screen, her "after", but we never got to see her reaction to the reveal, so it was missing the most important part of the prank. It's like the Christmas present in Polar Express in that huge box that we never get to see.

@@_itzriazpvp9869 everyone have their own style and taste. What he did might still be considered good but to the lady it's definitely ruined from perfection. It reminds me of the time Gordon cooked Pad Thai with a Thai chef and he said Gordon's dish is nothing like a real pad thai. Sure it could still be good but the original flavour is lost when incorporating your own technique.
