Uncle Justin the issue is, Gordon has all these TV shows to find the top chefs who pour all their hearts out, and when they rightfully won they take great pride in becoming head chefs at Gordon’s restaurant. The spotlight is on them for a year or maybe even less so until another one of his restaurants open up, then they just don’t have the same passion and care because they know they’re pretty much safe in that job.

At first (and still sometimes, and it still really good) it was made with old dry bread (to no't waste it), but now you can do it with a fresh good bread, and even with brioche it's delicious! Agreed. My family likes to do harmless little pranks and one of the best ones just happened to involve my grandfather. Basically we took his chair that he always watched TV in and swapped it with another chair nearby while he wasn't home. One month later we get a call from him explaining the situation. He was watching TV with his girlfriend and at point just looks at her sitting in "his chair" and just shouts "YOU'RE SITTING IN MY CHAIR!". It took him one month to figure out that he had been sitting in a different chair and I can't think of a better prank.

It reminds me of the time Gordon cooked Pad Thai with a Thai chef and he said Gordon's dish is nothing like a real pad thai.
