A Priest’s Occasional Rounds of prayer to Cover Everyone Ever in the Divine
Will.
“Let me speak your praise, O Lord,
let all peoples bless your holy name
for ever, for ages unending.”Ps.144.
We say “for ages unending” all these 23 Prayers in the company of Our
Immaculate Mother Mary, requesting of Her, in the Divine Will, the Divine
Version of each prayer for completeness. It is thanks to the writings of Luisa
Piccarreta, died 1947, that we are indebted for the teachings in these reflective
prayers.
(20) What shall we say or do now,, Lord Jesus, and Mother Mary, for the
homeless, the jobless, the orphanned, those enslaved in varying situations,
refugees, some in endless detention, some unable to acquire visas, those
feeling despised and rejected, those in an inescapable setting of violence,
some terrorised in prison or out of it, some facing Alzheimers, the hungry,
those with financial woes, the lonely old, youth fearful of the future, the
addicted and those with family members in addiction, those with severe
disabilities, mothers pressured to abort and all the rest, all the rest? We want to be there for them Lord, all of them. We want to give them love, a
hope and Divine support. We want to make up for them in such ways as are
best for them. It is all there in the Divine Will, all their solutions, the enormous
Graces that makes up for them, for the time lost in fretting and worry, the
ongoing temptation to give up and to find death and suicide the only
alternative. For all of these, Jesus, we look to your life amongst us. We bring up
the confrontation that You encountered in your lifetime amongst us of dealing
with unbelief, hypocrisy, betrayal, disinterest, criticism, mockery, having
nowhere to lay your head, and finally hatred and revenge to have you who
came to save to be got rid of, removed, punished, killed and not just killed but
killed off sadistically, brutally, without the least letup or respite, dragging on in
abysmal pain and agony and under the mocking gaze and the laughter of your
killers. Moreover we add to this the isolation from You of Your holy Mother
Our Lady, kept back and away from You until after You were dead, only then to
hold You, Her Son, and too soon to have to lay You in the tomb and to leave
You there. We CLAIM all these heroic acts as ours and offer them non-stop in
the Divine Will for those who need them to lift them all from their beds of
sorrow and ongoing distress to new solutions in a beautiful love and peace
that knows no bounds. We keep our offering up Lord until they can all be
freed. Amen Fiat.
