We get a lot of preying mantis here. I hold them all the time, I think they can bite, but I've never been bitten, so I can only assume they don't really bite humans :)

We often get praying mantis here, i had one act like it was gonna get me when putting the key into my front door, we get albino ones here too.

I like the praying mantis insects. One time a praying mantis looked at me, I looked at him, or her, and we spent several hours together. I do not know anything about them, but will look it up. Alot of online 'information' is totally false though, and looks like mentally challenged people input the info.

This insect at the back door was really scary, but even scarier was the one hanging from the ceiling in your room. In front of such "specimens" also I wouldn't have a moment's rest, especially not in the night. 😨🤯 It's so nice to see, how peacly Boo gets along with Nancy in his room. Little Boo loves you and wants your pets. 💋🐈‍⬛ Nancy mean: "I'm the Greenhouse Kitty and I'm just check to see if your palm tree is still ok." "For this I must to smell and a little taste a piece from your palm." 😻

It's 2:45 in the morning and I'm laughing myself silly at "...look at that thing swing". Your catchy tunes are great! I find myself enjoying watching the cats play with the spiders but still get a little squemish when they skitter across the floor so realistically, lol. Unfortunately, I've never quite gotten over my fear of the big spiders that are all too common in our area. Guess we can't be brave all the time! Thank you for all you do for your cats and us! 🌴

yeah, I’m not a fan of spiders either but I’ve gotten used to these fake ones because the cats love them so much. Seeing a real one of that size just makes my blood run cold.
