Praying To Mary?? [22+ Verses to Highlight]

Non-Catholics accuse Catholics of idolatry and necromancy, and assure us that since Mary isn't omniscient, omnipotent, or omnipresent, there's no way she can hear our prayers anyway - plus, we must be violating the Bible's teaching that there is only ONE mediator between people and God -- JESUS! But, as we'll see, once again, Catholic truth and Biblical Christianity are synonyms for the same thing!

As always, this is another excellent video! You are able to take catholic theology and share it in a way that the protestant can understand. If only my protestant family would be open to what you have to say. They will only see the title and then shake their heads and dismiss it without giving it a hearing. I continue to pray for them and ask everyone here to pray for them that God will send someone to come into their lives and open their hearts to the fullness of the faith. This is great backing up teaching for our Catholicism. Non Catholics who love tocread and interpret the Catholic canonized Book called the Bible which means the collection of books on their own think otherwise. Wow. I'm speechless. I was literally watching another Catholic video about the rosary last night and asked myself, how does Mary hear us? And I woke up to this video you posted. Amen. I just finished your video and John ch 17 comes to mind. It's one of my favorite passages because Christ is literally praying for us(Jn 17: 20-24 in particular strikes me after watching your video). This just brought it full circle for me. Soo convicting. I'm not Catholic, I'm from a evangelical upbringing and have been on this path looking for Christ and his foundation. Thank you for this. We believe that all the Saints are alive and are being together with the LORD Jesus right now, Holy Mother Mary included. When even the apostles had their times of doubts, Peter even rejected Christ 3 times, Mother Mary didn't, she had absolute faith in the LORD, in what her Son can do, so the Triune God chose to honor her request, to start the event earlier than the appointed time to do the miracles. Mary earn the title The Mother of God, because she has a special place in the heart of the believers, for she earned the favor of God, and she was the one who gave birth to the LORD Jesus Christ our Messiah. You want to honor the King, honor His mother also, the mother that He Himself honored, that is common sense.

People tell me that if I can pray directly to God then I don't need to ask Mary and the Saints to pray for me. I just tell them that the more people praying for me the better.

Human intercession and mediation are biblical facts which only the most ignorant of the Bible will deny. To think that saints are dead is another piece of biblical ignorance. Denial of the communion of saints as part of the same Body of Christ is one more demonstration of ignorance. Once Protestants have a right take on these three points, praying to Mary or saints should come naturally. But one thing most evangelical Christians will keep on insisting by asking: did Jesus anywhere say that we must pray to Mary and saints? Or did the apostles pray to Mary? As long as they pose such 'show me in the Bible' questions, no amount of scripture will persuade them to accept the biblical foundation for praying to Mary and saints.

Kenny I love you and try to see the picture you are painting, but when you pick verses out of the context to make a point it doesn’t make your point because it is uncontextualized. Most people that read the Bible are needing you to stay in context for us to believe what you are saying. What Paul is saying in the middle of talking about one subject to one church doesn’t always tie into something that Matthew or Isaiah or whichever Book. Can you teach more in chapters about a subject in explaining the subject! Thank you❤

For instance, take each verse (beginning with the one about Baptism in Mat. 28:19) and demonstrate that the context isn't about how Baptism brings us into the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but is actually about another different context than that), then we can chat about each one. Otherwise, none of the verses are "out of context." Each has EXACTLY to do with the setup I share before each verse.

The total love of God in this life does not _exclude_ but flows naturally into love of neighbor, of Mary, of the Saints - because God loves them too, and death does not separate them from that Love. Or ours.. It is one and the same Love, and it is eternal. The souls in heaven are still members of the Mystical Body.
