Just the free content you and anmol put out made me consistent. I use your PM process and trading style, plus Anmol's 2:1 AON trade management and demand quality from my setups to let me take less trades with a higher win rate over more trades and lower win rate. Looking forward to sending you guys an update in a year! Got a lil jittery and broke my plan on SHOP short under 322 today and broke even and a couple minutes later hits target without me. On to the next!

Jared, I really appreciate your no BS approach and the shared lessons of a a real trader. I have trading the CL and NQ futures with limited success as I try to pass the TST "Combine" to earn a funded account. Other than get out of futures, any insight as to how your course would apply to futures? Again, a sincere thank you for what you are trying to do with your channel and courses. John Temecula, CA

Patterns are patterns even on the NQ, ES and YM etc...You just have to be A LOT more patient with futures AND when the market is quiet, like it is right now, you won't be able to do much...PTS will definitely help you trade Futures too but it's more about stocks than Futures...but patterns are patterns.

Thanks Jared, I appreciate everything you share with us!!! QUESTION REGARDING ONLY LOSING $30-50 PER TRADE IN THE BEGINNING. What is the best way to achieve this? Selecting trades where support is close enough (taking into account the spread) to my entry where I can enter full position and only lose $50 max? Or entering with smaller size? Or full size but super tight stop, tighter than the technical support on the chart and L2?
@Live.Traders

Thanks...Sharesizing is how you do it. It doesnt matter if you trade AMZN or BAC...Your share size will determine how much you can lose/make. So, if AMZN has a $10 stop loss and you want to risk $20 on it, then you'll buy 2 shares. If BAC has a 10 cent stop loss and you want to risk $20 on it, then you'll buy 200 shares of it. Either way you're losing $20 if you're wrong!! Jared@livetraders.com

I really like this pre-market breakout pattern method. Do you recommend this pattern for the beginner trader? As of lately, It seems like there are quite a few under $10-stocks that can be found daily using this pattern (assuming I am reading the patterns correctly lol)

I hear you...but if the option didn't work, how much are you losing? Everything has a give and take...Sometimes the premiums on options or lack of liquidity make it very hard...Nothing wrong with Options...BUT no 'vehicle' in trading is perfect.

Jared, you are the best. But since Amazon broke bigger time graphs , why didn’t you stay for more time , maybe one more day ? Do you consider staying for more than 1 day if you break a 1 day consolidation ?

Everything in trading is about EXPECTATION. My goal was to intra-day trade AMZN on a small TF for 2:1 reward to risk. Scalping is my forte...If I want bigger moves then I'll swing/core trade. Trading is as much about personality and understanding ones self as it is about profits. Too many traders fail because they think they are someone different than they actually are. Having a plan that shoots for big profits but then selling too soon is not a good plan. I know my limits...and trade within them.

Live Traders wise words. Thank you for your free content. I buy as a day trade but sometimes I wonder if I should sell or wait more days in the case of a promising 60 min graph. Also, I’m Brazilian and can tell you that you are the most clear person that I understand talking about trading. Your communication is so efficiently that any “international” trader can feel inspired by your words. Thanks for your example.

You look all stocks (+0.0 %/+0.0 $ premarket change )??? What value to look from? Thanks

Live Traders no) if you add 200+ symbols on watch list, for example: $ change +0.00$\+10$, you look all? (+9, +8,75, + 8,25 ... +0.25, + 0.05 e.t.c) or you look above, maybe, above +0.5, for example? How your low watch list limit, thanks.

@@SentaZru I have very specific scanning criteria...of 200 stocks I might only look at 40 of them...then of those 40, there might only be 10 I actually like...then from those 10, I might choose 3-5 favorites...process of elimination...survival of the fittest! Cheers!

hey jared, thank you for the added value you give out- I've a question: can you/we count the gap to the first bar?! I think that makes sense- In this case it was a large bar incl. the gap- best regards from Berlin

@@Live.Traders you said in your presentation, that for the 3 bar pattern normally the first bar (after the gap) would not be big enough to trigger the 3 / 4 bar pattern. thats what I mean- so I think the gap should count towards the first bar and the bar is big enough. I hope thats understandable
@Live.Traders
@Live.Traders 5 жыл бұрын
@@mr.moneymaker270 No the gap does not count for the pattern...if t hat were the case then bar #2 could theoretically be HUGE yet still be in the upper 30-50% of bar #1 and then your reward to risk would be garbage. I've been trading this pattern successfully for 15 years...so no need to change what aint broke!! Trust the process ;-)

Hey Jared, I just started watching your videos and I’m loving the information and delivery. One thing I don’t understand is how you are getting 2/1 or higher with such small moves in price without trading options. Are you using leverage? I realize this is basic, but I haven’t found the answer in a video yet.

I don't have to have a WRB first...That's ONLY for 3BP's...The AMZN trade was a PRE-MARKET base breakout, NO WRB. The pre-mkt chart will tell you A LOT about how the stock will 'likely' open...
