It's completely and totally abusive to treat Eduardo as though he is an adult. Children are not equal in wisdom, knowledge or understanding. To take a child's perspective at face value, is abusive. To take away the innocence of Eduardo's childhood, by acting as though Eduardo is not actually a child and treating him as though he is as wise as an adult, capable of making such drastic decisions, is completely disgusting and abusive. Do your research. Google one thing "gender expression vs gender identity". Thanks. Your probably not going to, so: Gender expression = how someone presents Gender identity = how someone feels. One can influence the other but they are not the same. Trans men can be ultrafemine. Cis women can be butch. Nonbinary people don't have to be androgynous. Also, your experience isn't universal. I had mostly male friends (now it's like 60-40) played with "girl toys" and "boy toys" (I have a brother, we shared stuff) and was overall a tomboy. I'm agender. @@layla4792who makes up these ‘rules’, I don’t know about you but I have two daughters 14 and 16 so I’ve been through ‘pre-teen’ and know that being 9 definitely has none of the teen traits, in my experience 11 is stage they start getting tricky. Age 9/10 they are still just kids, people seem to want to wish their lives away these days.

And ok cool, it varies from child too child. They don't need the teen traits, it's in between child and teen. It can vary from being more independent too starting puberty not necessarily having teen traits. Anyway again it shouldn't matter I shouldn't of said anything bc I'm making it sound like a big deal not u. And 9 year olds are still kids obviously and so are teens. It's just a stupid group too class them in when actually both groups r kids so what's the need for it?? But yea technically 8-9 they are tweens they are still kids tho regardless .

I love this family but I am so disturbed that Anna wasn’t able seek help for Eduardo. Parents role is to guide and present reality to their kids especially at this age. Gender identity/confusion is a mental illness if it occurs at a very young age. Kids at this age needs all the resources that parents can facilitate to address their identity. It’s not too late though. I’m not against of LGBT as long as their mature enough to decide.

I can’t believe how big the kids have gotten. I’ve been watching since right before Edie’s 1st birthday. It crazy to see how grown up she is now. I loved seeing the previous update videos and how little she was. I remember watching them all from one year til now. Transgender politics aside, one thing that seems undeniable from this video and other early videos is, that from a behavioral standpoint, Edie has consistently displayed more traditionally female characteristics and preferences since toddlerhood. Not sure how this will work out, but wishing her the best as she deals with the challenges to come on this journey.
