Right? There’s a reason they’re there! I wish when people recommend this they say why and that it’s a concept album, then explain in detail. Because without context, it’s just long and depressing and impossible to decipher

I admit that ptolomea was on repeat for a while. It's just so...good, it's her losing touch with reality stuck in a cycle of nightmares because of the drugs she was fed, and that scream is the cherry on top. Also yes, Strangers is a crime scene. Isaiah (the guy that pimps her out on gibson girl) kills her on august underground and hides her in a freezer in the basement. In the middle of a psychotic breakdown he also eats part of her flash, he also always intended to kill her. There's a pdf with everything Ethel said so far and she answers a lot of things on her tumblr.

Sorry! This reaction obviously has to be chopped up for KZbin so it’s already skipping around a lot. I skipped the two instrumental tracks because I knew if I listened to them I wouldn’t have enough battery to film the last two tracks. I’ll be more careful next time 👍

I don’t know that I will have time to redo it. Maybe in the future, but it’s unlikely now. I have to say, I love the album! Specifically House In Nebraska, I listened to that song at least 5 times a day every day for a month straight!

This video is over a year old and I’ve already responded to people about this but looking back, this was my genuine reaction. Didn’t love the demonic instrumentation so I skipped it. Sorry! I still listen to a lot of songs from this album to this day though 👍

I love Ptolemaea. It's fun for me. I'm a massive metalhead and rock music fan, so I'm so immune with its innate shock factor. Also, that song is very powerful. I don't think you're an OPEN-MINDED individual as you easily dismiss songs.
