The way to make Satan or any evil character good is how they handled Satan in the Costatine movie. Don't know the name of that actor off hand but he did a really good job of combining comedy/dread pretty well.

I agree. However it works stylistically with in the art style of 90's independent trade paper back theme. I.E. 70's styled building's and landline telephone's . Also a writer and artist only had 64 pages to tell the story in words and drawing's . So I think a some what traditional 😈 Devil /Satan fits in the show. The producers could have gone CGI and been more topical. This fits in a new traditional comics w just a dash of Spawn, ShadowMan, & The Specter !

Tulips car is always clean and shiny in every episode! What an amazing Show! Phenomenal writing! Neil Peart would love it and write a song about Preachers, Vampires, and Saint's of Killers!

The show is butt compared to the comic (which is from the 90s so if Peart wanted to, he wouldve). So many liberties taken and things changed for the sake of, who the hell knows, but if you're looking for the real story; support your local comic shop and start with Book 1. Theres 6 total. Thank me later.

@@JFinker73 I have seen that comment from other people that have read the comic book. I binged watch this last summer. I liked the show. But season 4 seemed rushed and haphazard in the story line. I think the conclusion could have been better . This is definitely a comic book I would read. Based on your comment and other comments I have read. 🍻

Man, they did that way better in the Comics. The Saint of Killers hatred was so pure and powerful that upon his arrival in Hell the whole place turned into ice. The only important thing Satan did was turn the Angel of Death's Sword into his Colt Walkers and then get shot right in the face when he insulted him on his way out of hell. Also Satan never had any relation to Jesse cause when the Saint got his power he did so wanting to kill the man who had delayed him on his journey to cure his daughter in the 1800's. It is also the Angel who fathered Genesis who intends to reveal who is responsible for his family's death not Satan.
