@@Wututumi That's only true now; it wasn't at the time he killed him. Self-fulfilling prophecy, innit? God wasn't afraid of Jack before killing him; he was just weaving a narrative. Literally everything was under his control and going as planned. But once once the Winchesters defied him, and he killed Jack and revealed himself to be a dickbag, suddenly he has actual opposition. He created the thing he was pretending to fear.

What does it mean to be all-knowing? How would you portray a being that is all-knowing in a television show made by people with a limited understanding of the universe and knowledge in general? The real answer would be that a show of this nature is meant to entertain, and this particular show is quite silly by design.

Most likely it was a writer's mistake. Happens to the best of us. Then again, he could have been lying for whatever reason or maybe this vision is a lie. Who knows :) I haven't seen the following episodes yet so I don't know.

IcedMB yeah that's what I thought I just thought it was kinda interesting when he said he'd never met god kinda seemed like a red flag and him being the only person there when god left heaven seems like a huge step up from that, also did they explain what happens when angels die like what is he in this scene ? Is he an angel again?
