Can confirm the dai-bat information. 100% correct. In addition, everyone who dies without a spouse has to leave everything to dai-bat in their will. Dai-bat then distributes it around the family.

I'm really curious about this, because I could find NOTHING on google about it (closest term I could find was dai-BOK, which I think means "uncle" in Cantonese?). But since I know next to nothing about most Asian cultures and history (Chinese perhaps least of all), it sounds like either very old clan/family traditions, similar to some older European traditions that I've heard of... but frankly, the first thing I thought of is that it sounds like some more modern mob/mafia stuff from other cultures. Very strange ideology, but I'm fascinated by it nonetheless. Especially wondering how common this is in the modern world both within and outside of China.

"how old are they? cant be more than 14." People underestimate the childishness of some people. they can be 30 but act like theyre 12. I have family members who never matured past Jr High, even though they are in the 60s.

My parents in their 70s have regressed into childlike behaviour. A mix of failing memory from age, privilege of their family position makes them believe they have the right to meddle, hoarded wealth giving them arrogance and endless free time from being retired to create drama about unimportant stuff.

I know this is simply me not knowing the culture, but if you told me part of my relationship meant "this other guy has final say in naming your children" I'm disowning them immediately if they actually do that, among the other even shittier things they're allowed to do. He may be rather funny himself, but the reaction to "you should've gone over to his house and literally moved his character for him just because of his title" I'd run the fuck away from this. Being a leader should mean leading and setting an example not acting like a fat king on a throne doing nothing until someone calls you out.

People hook up booty calls on Tinder/Grindr, find dates on icupid, or get married on stuff like eharmony. Kinda think the whole "MMO players being emotionally invested is weird" thing went away once online interactions went mainstream.

I thought he quit WoW for good? What happend. I mean i understand if it was just a general outrage over the state of the game. But Preach specifically said he left the game due to the lawsuit and the reason for it. Can't wease yourselves out of that one. Returning to WoW, would mean all the outrage was fake.l
@GambeTama2 жыл бұрын
Assuming this isn’t sarcasm and wanting an honest answer. Preach specifically stated that he wasn’t making “WoW Content.” He still plays the game, and had admitted so then, and on several occasions after. But those moreso personal affairs with friends. He had also said that he was no longer going to involve himself in the hype of new releases, and just take it from a distance. Basically, he isn’t doing anything WoW related for Blizzard or the game’s sake, but he will do something if it is for his friends or the general community, such as casting RWF with his old crew, or the on/off raid night. He is still outraged at Blizzard and the game state, but even as he said in the video on the topic of quitting, the game means something to people that is dissociated from Blizzard itself, and thus they all handle this differently. People don’t have to like or even agree with that, but he only asks that they respect it.
@pinkphoenix37282 жыл бұрын
I have to imagine that this is just bait. Mike has said multiple times, even in the video about no longer primarily covering WoW, that he will probably cover big news (patches, expansions, etc.) and maybe play if it looks fun. He continued raiding with his friends for a few weeks, but they haven't put anything together for the latest tier.
