Thank you so much for these tips, I have all toon's maxed lvl 85 and I have Savior on my main Lock. fuck I miss this rotation... By far the most fun I had in pve with wow rotation wise... SO GOOD. I miss warriors... Mop got more boring until SoO trinkets... and then wod came and fuck.. SO BORING. AND THEN LEGION! EVEN WORSE! Well at least unholy dk's are quite fun... at least in pvp.. rotation... Nothing close to arms war back in 4.3.

yes if u are speced into blood and thunder, and remember blade storm is only a dps inscrease when u are hitting 3 mobs if this change cancle the buff :) then if still mobs up sweeping strikes and just normal rotation, using cleave instead of HS is a dps increase when hitting 2 mobs

The easiest thing (in my opinion) is putting the macros on bars that don't change with different stances. Otherwise yes you have to put them on both.

Ideally you pop shout and then charge. Then rend, CS, MS and the rotation is off. Do not use deadly calm before you run out of rage (after using ms+hs at the same time just after cs) because during Deadly Calm you get rage capped anyways. Use inner rage after Deadly Calm and try to get the rage down below 70% (still prioritizing slam as it is always better).

interface->combat-> custom lag tolorance you can set so that if you pop a spell 300ms before its ready it will be used when globalcd gets ready btw it is more keyboard friendly :D

Stance dancing does depend on your internet connection. If you have great latency, and great fps (frames per second)/response time, than you will notice a bit of a dps increase. If you have average latency, etc. it may drop your dps; reason - simple: 1. stance dance pushes back auto attack 2. stance dance also can slow your global cooldown I have a couple videos up of my raids, check my channel. I do not stance dance due to not trusting my internet connection. I am looking into tho.

i got a question prech: wouldnt be better to open up with a charge followed by a MS, this way you have 25% more chance to crit, follow that with a rend then CS then another MS (with a CS debuff) and then finally a 20% stronger OP (thanks to lambs to the slaughter), instead of just charge, rend and MS?

Wow, Mike, you've brought my DPS up significantly with these macros. I can truthfully say, I'm pulling 3k more now! Thank you so much! Truly amazing. One more thing though, is there anyway to make the macros not look "dimmed" out when your not in the stance needed to cast them. I.E. - Rend, Overpower. This is confusing me a lot and sometimes I end up not applying my rend and overpower properly.

Ideally you camp zerker stance till you need to overpower and then you go battle overpower zerk. So yes you could do that, I personally just hit MS to get back but using it for HS is viable, all got to do with what you like the best.

Changed. Stance dance does not reset swing timer. If you're double tapping you need REALLY bad internet to be wasting cd off of overpower and ms (since you know when they're coming back up). Stance dancing is very "low risk high gain" in my opinion. I gain about 8% overall damage from dancing. Can't honestly see what's wrong about stance dancing unless your internet is so bad that you can't overpower or MS in time, which sort of also requries you to be bad at planning your rotation.

Love you preach! This guide is amazing. I was wondering how the macros would work. For example, activating berserker stance and casting mortal strike each cost 1 global cooldown. I thought macros could only span 1 global cooldown and contained non gcd spells with one gcd spell. Please enlighten me.

stance dancing in pvp is only used for defensive abilities such as shield wall and spell reflect.

If you're doing 40k DPS. Then your DPS gain from stance dancing would be an absolute maximum of 1.6k assuming you have near perfect latency, perfect rotation and are hammering your macros incredibly fast. More realistically, you can expect a 1k DPS gain once you've mastered it, coupled with you taking more damage and less healing.

eventhough this answer comes kinda late dont give up first it was the same for me i lost around 3-4k but you have to really SPAM your macros so you stick to the timing and always use a spell instantly double tappign wont be enough with this i increased my dps by about 2-3 k its just timing ALSO make sure you grab the "Tactical Mastery" otherwise this wont work just put some effort into pressing these macros at the right time and you will have an improvement

Hey Preach!! I set up all the macros on the video description, but i think i'm having a problem with the rage, since when i change stances i lost some of that rage and get down to 25 rage. What i'm doing wrong? I missed something in my spec?

Do the maths. You will not be doing 5% more damage because you will still be spending time in Battle Stance using Rend and Overpower, it'll be more like 4%. In order for a 4% DPS gain to translate into 3k, you would need to be doing over 90k DPS. A (very) few extra Heroic Strikes will not make up for that disparity.

Hi there, I find that you can negate double tapping a lot of the time by using this macro for your stance dancing: /cast [stance:1/2] Berserker Stance or /cast [stance:2/3] Battle Stance I find these are much more reliable because they also allow you to jump from Defensive or Battle Stance into Zerker regardless. Nice for a PvP cross over to help with my Shield Wall Macro. Plus, if you are already in the right stance, it will just throw up the attack. Hope thats useful for ya
