Your schedule is ✨🌈perfect🌈✨ the problem is that the human being is not. A couple of times I found myself following a very similar schedule (had 60 minutes time blocks for studying instead of 90 minutes) and after 3-4 months i just wasn't able to keep it up, i even averaged 8.5hrs of daily sleep with lows of 7hrs and highs of 9-10hrs in the weekends. I feel like there is not much importance given to the rest, and the spotlight just ends up being on the "grind to get good grades" concept. I was able to keep this schedule up for longer if i gave myself 1 active rest day and one rest day per week (2 total rest days), but still after 6-7 months, back to square one, not burnt out, but just overall tired. My point is, if consistency is key, this schedule actually isn't that great, it certainly reads insanely good, but if you put it in practice every day is unsustainable.

It has nothing to do with time, it's all about how much effort you put in. I've yielded even greater success while being the biggest procrastinator, and no set study times(always getting distracted). It's a myth that you need to study in an organized way to get the best grades. Put in 110% effort into everything you do and you will go even farther in life
@thunderpenguin9559 Жыл бұрын
how are you putting 110% effort if you procrasinate?

@shyampadmanabhan4171 Жыл бұрын
That only works up until a certain point. You will eventually get to a class that is so chock full of new content that the time that your procrastinator brain alots you to work on it simply is not enough. The fact that you or I would not have encountered a class that challenges us in this way until far later in our lives is what makes this problem so much more difficult to overcome, and why I think Prithik became so wise beyond his years so soon. In another of his videos, he said he ended middle school with straight C's, which forced him to reevaluate himself in a way that I really wasn't forced to until the middle of college.
@sampiesman9483 Жыл бұрын
@@shyampadmanabhan4171 I have taken 7 ap classes my last two years of high school and never encountered a time problem. Like I said, effort trumps a study schedule any day of the week. Also, procrastination is not related to individual effort on an assignment so I don't understand the first guy's point.

Wish this could work for me I get home around 6 so instead I just try to finish 90% of my HW at school when ever I can then when I get home I spend around an hour studying and then do everything else I got to do for the day. For anyone else who comes home late try to find out which teachers let you work on other classwork during that period and try to get work done during lunch that's been working wonders for me on the higher work load weeks.

Thank you so much for this video! Unfortunately, I just realised how wacky my school schedule is. I start school at 7.30 and I need to reach school at 7 as a student leader, so I usually wake up at 6.30 everyday. HOWEVER, my school has extracurricular activities everyday like clubs, research modules, talks and third language and those end at 6.30 so I only get home at 7, or 7.30 when I end late (those happen a lot 😭) Any tips in this case scenario? I usually complete my work during lessons or lunch but I have a ton of meetings and so much homework that I need to go home to complete them, not to mention the number of meetings I have for school projects and initiatives, leaving little time for any other extracurriculars or passion projects that I want to do, especially if I want to get enough sleep everyday
