Watching her descend the deepest recesses of her mind, then bravely channel as much of that emotion she can endure, is simply hypnotic.

Just stopped by to relive this moment. I was at this particular performance and was like OHHH PRECIOUS THINGS, then was like OHHH she is really working this one and then was like TORI, what the HELL are you doing and was left utterly stunned by its end wondering OK where did all THAT come from but was so appreciative of its rawness. The tickets were a gift for my dear friend at the time and she was in complete awe over the entire performance.

Music should never, ever be about whether someone is "relevant" or even successful, if you like a song you like a song. The music speaks for itself. I could be the only person in the world who loves Tori Amos and as long as she keeps singing, I don't care if it comes to that. Her voice is so touching an addictive.

Tori Amos is a wonderful, compassionate, spiritual human being. She is a mother, a wife and a leader, not to mention an absolute musical genious. I'm saddened and disgusted by the negative comments here. They need to be erased and for God's sake, people, if you aren't a Tori fan or listener, you honestly will NEVER truly understand her lyrics and how deeply they are felt by millions. Tori has helped countless people (men as well as women) get through their hard times. Please stop the negative comments.

What some may think is scary or "demonic" is what Tori has been quoted as explaining in these terms I list as follows: "There is a place you go when you play..like no place I've ever been." Her musical performances entrance not only her fans, but HERSELF. Simply put, she gets high on the music. We all can learn from this.
@tashaschneider14198 жыл бұрын
+Katie Bragg Considering the fact that Tori Amos is an evil, arrogant, and self-centered woman, I would say that yes, there is definitely demonic influence going on here. Anyone who spends her musical career blaspheming Christ with her twisted sex fantasies, being obsessed with Lucifer, spewing evil man-hating feminist philosophies, and generally being a self-righteous person who wants to be worshipped and adored, is obviously this way because of demonic influence in her life.

A friend of mine and I was into Tori at the time and introduced another mutual friend to her music and she eventually grew to love her too. As a last minute birthday gift, I innocently bought us all tickets to this very show. Okay it was a concert for RAINN so I expected some deep moments but that whole concert blew us all away and this Wash Me Clean Precious Things was just one of the highlights.

I think it's the things that keep you in inbalance that give you the energy to perform. I think Tori's overacting is just a giving in to the energy that rose on that day an transforming it into that "special" performance.

Don't bother wasting energy being offended by people making fun of her, clearly they don't have the emotional range to get what's she doing in this performance.

The spiritual world is way more permanent then the physical world we are all used to. The power and comfort of the Father can bring about a discernment that is supernatural. It not by muscle or might, but by the precious Holy Spirit. It's a shame that that presence is not known much even with those who go to church. May the power touch this poor lady who is messed up.
