Yes it is a very nice radio but I still love my 7300 as well! And I really like how easy it is to operate the Icom’s not to mention the customizability of the Waterfall displays! 73

Is there an IF tap on the radio for an sdr like the rsp1a.

Unfortunately Yes and No! The 7610 does have a BNC RX out but you have to change a few settings in the radio to get it to work and when done the 7610 no longer receives like normal as it seems when outputting to the BNC RX out the signals on the 7610 main unit drop significantly! Now I know you could hook up an external SDR through the USB port for I/Q out on firmware versions 1.20 or more! I hope this helps 73

You need a separate antenna to connect through your IC-7610 to your separate SDR receiver, and what that does is protect your separate SDR from being desensed or damaged while you are transmitting on the 7610. 73 VE7NDE
