This was one of those films where Critics and audiences at the time said “Arnold’s not there so I’m not going to like it” I hate those kind of people. This sequel is one of the most underrated and best sequels of all time! Along with Robocop 2, Jaws 2, Nightmare on Elm Street 2, and Ghostbusters 2 I’m very happy this film gets more appreciation nowadays

I have the city hunter statue from infinity studios cost me $1,700 almost 2k but I’m very happy I have it because it’s my favorite Predator movie I like it better than the first one and the city hunter design is the best predator design ever made

Agree 100%. Predator 2 is the peak of the franchise. It has all the right ingredients. The Slaughterhouse Scene in Predator 2 is absolutely fabulous. The successors are also all lacking the posing and acting of these Predators for some reason, which adds so much live and believability to the creatures, especially in this one. And yeah, the City Hunter Design is one of the most breathtaking creature designs ever, totally.

All the other Predator sequels really suck, unfortunately. This one is definitely a real Predator movie. I still want an AVP set in the future, not modern day, which makes no sense since the Alien movies are all way into the future and it's entirely believable that the Predators are still doing what they do in the future. Except for the short scene in the lab where the predator wakes up and kills some staff, I wanted to puke my guts out. It is a good question that bugs me as well. Ironically, just like the opening of this movie - there was an actual massive shootout between the police and criminals in _1997 LA_ - The North Hollywood Shootout. It was the biggest shootout in LAPD history, I believe.

I wish we could collectively forget The Predator (one of the worst movies ever made). It was so bad. Predators (2010) was alright, but I still dislike the idea of "Super Predators" and shit like that. Predator 1, Predator 2 and Prey would have worked quite well as a trilogy since there's callback and respect for the previous entries.

Considering that it was a CIA covert operation and now he and the one girl were the only survivors, I could see that the CIA "retired" him and the girl after debriefing several weeks after the fact, more than likely during recovery in hospital or in a military black list prison. Probably made it look like the result of a suicide, or the culmination of a disease, heart failure, etc... No loose ends, no loose lips. Their mission is still covert and ongoing so no possible leaks to the public from PTSD Arnold and the girl.

according to the lore from the comics and the books that have been created after the first movie Dutch escaped from a hospital while being treated for radiation poisoning from the explosion in predator 1, and has never been seen again. So when Gary Busey said that the Lore was still brand new and being created, so maybe they were planning on killing off the Dutch character when he said that but then they later changed there mind. Gary Busey could of been explaining a scene in Predator 2 that got cut from the final movie. I haven’t read the new books or comics in a while so things could of changed since then.
