I ordered some valves and guides, I’m making a custom predator 212. I’m 15 too and I couldn’t be interested in anything else. Even this video is very informative. Thanks for someone who does custom head work and other things for other people. Good job.

I'm 14 and I got at ct200u ex minibike it's a Coleman and it has a 196cc clone I've put 18 pd valve springs I have go power sports stage 1 basically it a header exhaust and a bigger jet cause it comes with a bigger air box intake and I have a clear valve cover with a jack shaft and on the valve cover when I was Installing it the bottom right hole where u put it was stripped the bolt wasn't stripped the actual upper was stripped so I put some electrical tape on it and put the bolt in and it kinda worked its leaking a little bit so I'm looking for a upper head and I was looking at go power sports stage 3 head its milled I think.30 or 40 and it has ported and polished but if I get that will the rod break or the fly wheel cause I don't have either of them billet and if soo should I just buy billet rod and fly wheel or should I get a vm 24 maybe 26 or maybe a flat slide 24 maybe 26 idk what size ill get but that's the options??????

@@gameworkshop343 the head doesn’t affect Rpm, your throttle affects Rpm. But the head will add compression so it’ll gain Rpm better. If you don’t wanna hold it full throttle all the time you will need the bullet flywheel and billet rod. I would go with the VM 22 carb. I’m 15 nearly 16

Thanks , just had to get some time to make it. There are some more videos from a few years ago where I went thru some building tech videos. There is some good info in there. Some of it has evolved but lots of things to get the juices flowing. Paul

Hey Paul. I have a question about a fuel pump I hope you could answer. I recently hooked up a fuel pump to my 212 and it acts in a very odd way. When it’s not hooked up to the carb, everything works and it flows fuel out of the fuel out line. But when it is hooked up, it won’t flow at all and the fuel sits in the lines. If you could help me this I would be very appreciative. Also amazing video, heads look awesome 🔥

Not sure what that is. Seems like pressure

What head and cam combo do you recommend if I am using a stock length arc rod and stock piston with a mikuni vm22 clone carb? And can you sell me a head, cam rocker, and rod combo? Thank you
@paulskartslifan420610 ай бұрын
The carb will be the restriction. I’d recommend our trinity set. The set if bought comes with savings equivalent to $340 so it’s like getting the carb free and then some. Look into our trinity set. If you just want a head I’d recommend a smaller valve head like our 28/28 welded chamber head would be good on a 212. Compression ratio is hard to get on those and the welded chamber 28/28 is a monster

@@paulskartslifan4206 thank you I am going to look it up.
Im very curious as to how one your heads would help my build iv got a predator 212cc non hemi head 63730 worked the short turns a little bit nothing aggressive just enough to take the sharp edges out of the head stock valves and retainers 18lb valve springs and 1.3 stamped ratio rockers stock style carb running .38 main jet with the mixture screw e3 plug and 1in trumpet style header (stage 1 kit) for bottom end stock piston stock arc size rod arc flywheel (pauls 212 hot coil with ground strap) and for cam a mod2 cheater cam it ran very good till i put the 1.3 ratio rockers i looks a couple hundred rpms before float but picked up a bunch of power on throughout the lower rpms. Is it possible by increasing lift of the valve instead of changing valve seat size i kept my velocity up but increased my cfm flow ?

Ask yourself how flow is measured on a flow bench and how they graph the flow chart. There in lies your answer.

What are the highest velocity speed ratings you can get?
@paulskartslifan42063 жыл бұрын
Highest you can get ? Well if you construct down the port to a straw size they will really spike up. But im sure you don’t mean highway you can get. Your probably wanting to know where you should be aiming for am I right ? 300-400 fps in high velocity areas is not hard to achieve. A good even 340 would be nice. Just trying to eliminate low velocity areas is a good place to start.
@markkonschak62883 жыл бұрын
@@paulskartslifan4206 I guess what I’m asking is whats the highest average velocity are you getting in the body of the port.
