Your so right ! It’s all about the differences we make in others lives is so important! To share a understanding you have with us , is the coolest thing going on in my life , so thank you ! The best compliment I’ve gotten in 53 yrs My son called me out of the blue… just to thank me for all I’ve taught him. How it’s gotten him not just a good job but a foreman at 26 at a Country Club. Sharing knowledge is most important! ✌️🤜💥🤛

The term “blueprinting” comes from the early days of NASCAR when cars had to be completely stock. Guys would get hold of the engine blueprints and go through piles of parts finding parts that were as close to “blueprint” dimensions as possible to remove as much error from tolerances as they could which resulted in engines that could produce more power.

Yes, I'd buy a copy of your recipe book! I love the engine math for these engines.

Thank you so much for the fast up load and the reply to my comments you truly are a God send that I found your channel and for you allowing me to pick your brain on occassions, I used to build go carts back in the early 80s while growing up, boy how things have changed in the small engine world.. now that I'm retired and have a lot of free time I'm getting back to what I truly loved doing as a kid. I really do want to thank you for taking time out to help a brother out! Again thanks a bunch!!!!!!

Hey -first i have to thx for all the Input all of You Enginebuilders sharing on KZbin -your knowledge is worth so much ...over here in Germany it's hard to find even any Tuning parts for the GX Style engines -and if there is a Guy who got some knowledge He acts like this is rocket science. I just saw that Mikuni Flatside mounted in the Background -we got a TM34 on our 390 with a mild Torquecam with 38mm intake valve and i don't get it tuned right so it will run good in almost any Situation -it's either way too rich or at full open it's on the lean side 🥴 You got any Tips for a good "start up" jeting !? ...the Stock Setup was way too rich (about 250 mainjet) -I ended up with about 150 and some different pilots but at the end of the day i mounted the bored Stock Carb (125 Jet) back on and it runs fine. On a TM33 pumper we run about 130/135 main and 37,5 pilot i guess and it runs pretty perfect but this Setup wont fit for the TM34. Are you Guys using these carbs only on Methanol or on Racegas too 🤔 ...we only run on Racegas over here -but i'm thinking about E85. THX for any information.

Thank you Excellent information ! Is it ok to start with a 22m.m. Mikuni Carb Kit on my stock Ducar 196c.c Kart racing engine ? Is it overkill ? Is been set up for a stock engine . But , its tunable if i decide to build the engine . I know there is soo much you can do with a stock or 390GX carb. I just love Mikunis! Especially Flatslides. Thanks in advance Frank
@paulskartslifan42066 жыл бұрын
There is a lot of variables that depict carb size
@trevinskiking21653 жыл бұрын
Stock...a 22mm will be fine...it's better to be a bit under carbed than over carbed...my S90 Sports 90cc Honda 1970 roadbike runs a 20mm carb stock. Trev New Zealand 🤗🇳🇿

Intake port size, valves correct? I have 32 intake and 28 exhaust jrpw level 10 head, so a 28mm genuine mikuni would be to small then, correct?

52.8hp and it spun 9600 RPMs.... is my best guess. I never worked on or used a big block, so that’s best educated guess.

I was wondering what happened to you you were posting regularly then you went silent. I can now see you’ve been building footage with lots to edit. But I like this info your putting out to the public. This is hard to find information. Now not every one will give a shit about all this. They would rather just slap a bolt on part and call it a double hp increase. But then there us who really gives a shit about the precision and know that it matters more than just bolting parts together to get the most performance possible.

What are those jumper wires going to your exhaust on the motor on your counter? Exhaust temp or wideband sensor?
@NBrogdon453 жыл бұрын
I know this is old but is hose that runs from the block to the cylinder head to a catch can on the bike. It's a evac system. Relieves block pressure basically.

Do you ever dyno the engines you build and if so how much hp yo putting out on a small block
@paulskartslifan42064 жыл бұрын
I dyno time to time like when I was putting the trinity combo together. But horse power will vary based off your combination. Bottom end size / head / cam/ carb combo etc. I have built a 304cc small block. I don’t give dyno numbers out since they vary greatly base on lots of factors. But mostly dyno things as testing I don’t dyno for customers if that’s what your asking. Thanks. Paul
