I had an old Geo and had the clutch pedal bracket pull through the firewall. I had to float the gears to get home. The trick is not to stop lol. I would start it in gear to take off. I had my clutch ho out on my International 9400. I had a load and was only 20 minutes from my customer. It was the pressure plate that went. I ran through a yellow turn red light with a local sitting at the light. I was hopping on the hwy coming out the ports in New Orleans. When i told the cop i couldn't stop because of the clutch shocked him so much that he just handed me back my license and said be careful. Dot and i would've been calling a wrecker. Great show on the fun builds.

Redbeard's garage put an amr 500 supercharger on his 670. It really improved the power of the v twin. I really like this build.

Very cool project! I love low buck stuff like this. Much more relatable. I want to build a tractor out of truck parts something like this. I bet the suspension is very stiff with all that weight taken off. Maybe try junk yard half ton springs?
@ChrisfromKeyfarm6 ай бұрын
It's kinda strange, I thought it would be super stiff, but I drove up that same hill ( beginning of video) at a 45° angle and amazingly it flexed pretty good and didn't lose traction. I was really surprised.

Hi Chris! I am building a 1949 Willys CJ3A Jeep for my Grandson with the Predator 6.5 HP engine. Couple of questions for you. Where to purchase the sprockets and chain? What type and size clutch and where to purchase it? Thanks!
@ChrisfromKeyfarm6 ай бұрын
That sounds like a great idea! I source almost all of my parts from eBay, it's pretty easy to find exactly what you need. Search for things like " predator 212 clutch" or "40 chain" or "sprocket 40 chain ". Here is a link to a sprocket I recently purchased. www.ebay.com/itm/223604382078?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5XF_9EFSRMS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=07vVd76cTIS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@ChrisfromKeyfarm6 ай бұрын
B type sprockets already have a hub, you'll have to get the correct bore size " center hole". They also make X series sprockets but those require an X-Series hub and you weld the two together.
